Around September of 2020 two transactions were posted to my account both in the amount of $1,499. I have reached out to the business owner (market modern) his name is Cody W***. He had several ads offering a full money back guarantee on his course that I went through and when I reached out for the refund I was ignored. I have called messaged and emailed several times being ignored. I tried to go to my bank shortly after this issue, I was 17 yrs old at the time and they had said they can’t do anything, I moved on joined the **** and haven’t had too much time to address this problem since.Initial Complaint

I am not the first victim. I signed contract with Cody C*** / Market Modern LLC in March 2023. According to contract, "The client will submit a refund request in case of service delivery failure from the Service Provider if all the Pre-requisites were provided by the client in due time. The service provider will refund 100% of the initial investment by month 12 if the store isn’t producing a minimum of 10% profit on purchased inventory monthly by month 12 at the latest…"
What was promised didn't happen by month 12, in fact my store got suspended since October 2023 (still suspended as of Feb 2024) so I asked for refund of 15K. I sent my refund request to Cody C*** via email and phone, twice (first time was 2/05/24, second time was 2/12/24), but have not heard anything back from him in more than 2 weeks. On October 25, 2022 we signed a contract with ****** **********/Market Modern LLC as an outsourcing agreement in which ****** **********/Market Modern LLC would provide us, ** ***********, services in exchange for an investment of $15,000 which would cover the following services under the agreement for our ****** store: consultation, account creation, dedicated e-commerce website, distributor/supplier acquisition, brand approval, gated/ungated check, product analysis, ROI analysis, order placement to supplier, prep services, inventory management, account management, and 10-15% margin on sales monthly by month 12 at the latest. During our contract with ****** **********/Market Modern LLC, we did not hit 10-15% profits as promised by month 12 in the contract, there was very little to no communication, and the third party that ****** **********/Market Modern LLC uses to service the store got our ****** Store, ** ***********, shut down due to being linked to another ****** store which is a violation of ******'s policy. We filed an appeal to have our store reactivated, which was declined by ******. We have reached out to Cody C***, owner of ****** **********/Market Modern LLC on two separate occasions and requested a refund of our initial investment of $15,000 for service delivery failure (the contract states a refund will be granted within 30 days for service delivery failure) with no response from Cody or promise to refund us. We have also contacted him by text and email with no response. There are currently other groups of investors much like myself who have experienced the same with this business, whom have filed reports to the BBB and FBI, who are currently investigating him. I was advised to submit a complaint to the BBB, and the FBI, to further investigate the complaints and be added to the group. Around September 2022 of last year I decided to take a contract between me and this ****** automation company. Was looking forward to more income per month online and instead they screwed me over by stealing my money. I paid $25,000 as the initial down payment for the ****** FBA automation and then months past we made a little bit of money and now they're ignoring me. We haven't made any money and then when I asked for a refund they ghost me. They breach the contract. They said that they were going to make me $10,000 on Month but Never made me $10,000 a month. I responded to a Facebook ad proposing to run a Amazon business with my Capital but this team's experience they guaranteed returns in their contract of 10% per month on Capital I did initial research and the team seemed fine I transferred $25,000 to engage their services and in the year that the team has had my $25,000 they have generated about $200 worth of profit I believe that their offer is nothing more and less than a scam aimed at generating $25,000 deposits and then providing no services. at this point I don't expect to see my money back but I would like a regulatory Authority to take action so that other investors are not duped as I was.Initial Complaint

I entered in a contract with Market Modern LLC on 3/20/2023. They were to run an ****** store under my name and profits would be split 50/50. I supplied revenue and supplied the talent and resources to do so. I stupidly sent them 25000 dollars. I initially had one meeting with them and there were to be monthly meeting. None have occured. The store was to be up and running in 2-3 months. It is now almost 5 months no profit made. No store with products. Little to no communication. No returned messages. I ask for an update and hear nothing or let me check and get back to you. I have a fee that is being charged every month by ****** for the storefront plus the initial fee. One phone number I have is for a Jake and he sees to be the salesperson, ***********. They use ***** for communication, i can give you that contact. I entered into money back guarantee contract for $25,000 for Amazon Automation online store. The results were guaranteed to be 10% per month starting in 3-4 months. After 6 months I have had $314 in total sales and about $100 in profit. In addition , my first “order for inventory” for $7,200 went to a newly established LLC in Texas that I later found was addressed to a co -share office where people can share a desk for $350 per month . That inventory never arrived . After 2 months of me complaining , ****** team said **** would reimburse me . But that never happened . The first excuse was **** was just behind, then it was the accounting period had to end , then it was they had to “recover” the funds. I convinced it is fraud. There are other investors posting here that they had the same thing happen . I am interested in joining in a law suit .Initial Complaint

There's a guy on Instagram and Facebook running ads named Cody W**** Cody W*** is claiming he runs a digital marketing bootcamp and will earn you $10,000 in 3 months or your money back guaranteed.
I spoke with him on the phone, and asked him about someone who wrote about 100 cold calls per day were required. He said no, only 2 hours of work per day. I sign up for the course and the training then says 100 cold calls are required. I message him saying he told me this wasn't required, and he says no "only 50 cold calls." That's still well over 2 hours and he never mentioned any of this on the phone.
I ask for a refund and he goes ghost. He finally responds with a non answer, and I tried reasoning with him, but wouldn't issue a refund. I have since found other people claiming he is a scam artist. I also posted comments on his latest ad letting people know the true nature of the course, and the comments were immediately deleted.
