We hired Lewis Renovations and Design to do a partial renovation in our bathroom. It was nothing but problems from the start. The contract **** submitted to us had the wrong address and phone number. During the project, **** didn't adhere to any set work schedule. We were stuck at the house all day and evening all throughout the project. **** was always leaving for hours to get supplies. The project consisted of demolition of half of two walls, waterproofing those walls and tile them. Install tile on the whole floor and install a new tub spicket and shower head. **** plumbd the new valve and ran water lines to the spicket but didn't anchor anything so I can pull the spicket in and out of the wall by hand. The spicket doesn't sit flush with the wall in its resting position. The shower water line was not anchored either, so it too moves. The oil rubbed pipe that is attached to the shower head was all scratched up because a pipe wrench, that didn't have a protective cover over the teeth, was used to tighten it to a non anchored supply line. The door caseing was not removed to install the tile for the wall underneath. So **** started laying tile 3/4" from the door caseing. ****** plan was to fill it all in with caulk. The adjacent wall had a metal corner tie in for 1/4" wall panels. **** did not remove that tie in And again, started laying tile about 3/4" off the corner and was going to fill the gap with caulk. I had him tear out the mosaic **** installed because the mosaic was 3/8" beyond flush with the rest of the tile. The new mosaic was installed flush, but was missing stones.****** caulk job down the corners were inconsistent and had parts that was skipped. There was one baceboard that was supposed to be removed to tile under, that never was. There was a 4" section of floor between the vanity and wall that **** left bare. This project was pushing two weeks when we fired Lewis Renovations. I had to redo and fix some of ****** work and finish the project myself
