STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!! this company is a scam. PURCHASED GAP through them, Had my car totaled in NOVEMBER, it is now mid March and I continue to get push back about paying the remaining portion. So now not only am I car-less, also in a financial bind as I continue to make payments on a car I don’t even have !!!! because this scam company won’t step up and pay their part.

I don’t think they deserve 1 star. I’ve had my Jeep Commander for almost a year and a half. The motor burn up, it needs to be replaced as well as the radiator, thermostat, heater core, & the catalytic converter at $18,647. I only owe $15,300 on it. But they say they are not paying for it because I drove it too long. I’ve drove it, then it stopped. I have had 2 Jeeps like this as well as 2 of the Jeep wranglers. I have never had anything happen to them. I don’t know anything about one doing as mine did. It drove then stopped. The gage never showed hot. I’ve read a lot of these SAME stories. Don’t go with this company!!!! My Jeep was totaled in 2023 and even having Gap they didn’t cover the whole amount. I also was not reimbursed for my rental of over 400.00 After my Jeep had to Be repaired. They don’t communicate with you. The pain and suffering came more from this company than the accident!!! National Auto Care Corporation is the worst company to purchase for your warranty! I filed a claim on my 2017 Camaro SS, and they are not wanting to approve it. Their reason was because the repair had been misdiagnosed by the Repair Facility. Just because they think that's not what is wrong with the vehicle, they are going to decline the claim. I had to pay the shop's diagnostic fee. I cannot take my car to all the repair shops until they decide to agree with the results and keep paying a diagnostic fee at every location. These people should be put out of business. They refused my GAP claim based on a worksheet that did not have the correct amount due to the bank after regular insurance paid. They "claimed" their number was based on a math equation used to calculate the amount owed, and they did not need to use the bank statement to calculate the amount they owed. One call to an insurance broker at the Las Vegas insurance convention and guess what; payment was sent the next day. Only when threatened with a big loss of dealers selling this garbage GAP policy, did they come through.National Auto Care Corporation Response

Complete and total waste of $$$. I paid for the GAP insurance because I was always taught it was beneficial. Unfortunately after having a total loss on a car I was left with a balance of almost 2k. When I asked why I was told that would be the interest I would have paid if the loan had been laid off during the correct terms. Well it wasn't. The car was totaled! They were at the beginning of my auto insurance total loss claim very good about helping until the end they said that I needed a better we fire report and I live in a small town where there are only volunteer firefighters I only had one report so they were not covering my car now my loan through credit union is over 120 days late ruining my credit because they are NOT doing THEIR jobNational Auto Care Corporation Response
