  14h:
  purchased the down pipe and muffler
  for my 22 ford maverick 2.0. After
  receiving it I find out that new laws in
  Virginia prohibited me from having it
  installed also it would not pass
  inspection. I tried to return it but they
  said no so now I'm out $1000. just like
  that.They don't seem to care about
  the situation at all. It's never been
  installed, it's just not right. Bad

  The customer ordered a custom made racing part for his Ford Maverick on 8-14-23.  The part was built and delivered.  He called us nearly two months later telling us he can't find someone to install the part and wants a refund.
  
  Our website clearly states the following:

  "Buschur Racing sells primarily custom race parts with no warranty expressed or implied.  Some parts legal for sale and use only on off road vehicles which may never have been driven on public highways.
  Consumer accepts responsibility for the installation and use of these components.  There are no returns on electrical items unless otherwise noted.  All retuned “unused” items are subject to a 15% restocking fee with no refund for shipping.  No returns after 30 days.  Returns need to be pre-approved and accompanied by an assigned RA number.
  IMPORTANT NOTICE
  All cores need to be returned to Buschur Racing within 30 days of from the day it leaves our facility on its way to your or the core refund will be reduced by 50%.  Core fee’s are refunded minus a 3% processing fee."
  

  The customer was outside of his return date by almost a full month AND it is not my problem he ordered a part and can't install it himself.

  I am rejecting this response because:first off I didn't say that I couldn't install it . What I said was the shops that I talked to said they can't install it because of new regulations in the state and that it would not pass inspection even if I installed it. Second thing is if it is a race down pipe why does it have a catalytic converter in it at all and why are they including a  peace to add in so the check engine light won't come on . Once again if this is for race purposes only. I'm not buying it.
