I have a Trane split rail heating/air unit. Originally purchased 2017 it was replaced after ongoing issues 202o which also had the same issues. Choice comfort was called and fixed unit several times the last time Jan 2021 they did a repair and declared solved. I spoke with **** about the constant issues he said he would check out what we talked about and call me the first of the week he did not and never heard anything. The fans on the inside unit went out I called Deer. Then in August the A/C quit called deer unit had no refrigerant. When repaired he found last repair was improperly fit I paid over 1300 for repair and refrigerant. Called choice they said **** would call that was over a week agoBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/15) */ This system was originally installed by another company. We worked with the homeowner after the company she had install it went out of business. To help her we worked with the manufacturer to get the unit replaced at no charge. We aren't above making mistakes, however we can't resolve issues if we don't know about them and a different company is called instead. We also can't determine if the problem was caused by us or the original installing company. Furthermore, she asked us to pay for the work performed by the other company she called to make the repair. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/09/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The part I do not agree with is regarding the installing company it was Choice comfort as they got Trane to replace the first faulty unit and they installed the replacement and was servicing and repairing it up to Jan/ Feb the last time they were called it was determined by the repair person it had a refrigerant leak causing it to freeze he indicated he had repaired it. At that time I asked the company to give an estimate for replacement as I felt that this unit would continue to have issues. They failed to provide an estimate and Paul failed to return my calls UnItworked till recently when it failed again since Choice comfort failed to return my phone calls I called Another company who determined the unit was not repaired properly. My feeling is that if they had repaired it properly I would not have had the problem of refrigerant leaking
