    Kinda funny to see that the reviews are all about the same issue. Now it makes me realize that there was really never any chance to get a refund. This is a trash company. Booked a trip to DC for my eighth grader with his middle school. He had a disciplinary issue last Wednesday and the school decided he would not be able to go on the trip. The school also decided it would be best to hold off on telling me until the following Monday. I was 100% behind the school on removing him from the trip, it was a deserved punishment and our family was under financial stress anyhow. Within an hour of finding out, I emailed nowak and I got a very quick phone call back with a very apologetic lady who told me that if I would have just called one day earlier I could have gotten my full refund but since I didn't call yesterday which I didn't know at the time, they regret that they are forced to keep 75% of the $500 I paid into the trip in multiple 20 and 30 and $50 increments. It was hard. Money that took a pretty good bite out of my disability check which is the only income we have, but I wanted a memory for my child so I did it. But the thought that this big company just gets to keep $375 over one day of which I had no control over ***** me. Kind of nice of the school to run the clock out for me and help this poor struggling company *** my family. But alas, I read the fine print and they're correct 44 days before the trip is too late. I just wish I would have known 45 days before, because the school sure knew 49 days before. Somebody at nowak is buddies with somebody at ****** schools that's for sure.
