**** brought his bike in here at the beginning of the summer to do motor work and other mods to the body as in fender saddle bags. we went threw everything he wanted to accomplish, we started to work on the bike, during the tear down of the motorcycle we noticed that his shifter levers to change gear was stripped( from pressing them aggressively) the clutch basket was exploded. right away we called him up to inform him of what we had seen and then he informed us that this was his 2nd basket that he has put into the bike in a short period of time. ( the only way clutch baskets explode is abuse of the motorcycles) and at this point in time I talked to my other employee and was reluctant to even work on the bike because i knew this guy was ultimately going to be and issue but we decided to move forward anyways. after completion of the bike **** came and picked up his vehicle and left. the same day his air ride had failed ( which we had nothing to do with). he continued to ride the bike after the air went out of the shocks. he called the shop yelling and screaming at us blaming us for the problem that occurred. after talking with him i told him i would come bike his bike up and bring it to the shop to see what happened. after the bike was at the shop we discovered that after the air ride had failed the back tire had rubbed some wires underneath the fender.  took a couple hours to fix, we repaired the bike free of charge and the tow, he then picked his bike up and left again. a few days later he had called us complaining of spark knock (detonation). he then drove the bike back to the shop dropped it off for us to look at " his complaint " we then put the bike back on the dyno to check the tune. (not to mention we have built this motor combo countless times because its a great working setup for the bike). upon checking we found absolutely nothing wrong with anything. then later informed him that we seen nothing wrong and or heard any detonation that he was speaking of. then after speaking with his he was still adamant there was something so i told him i would ride the bike my self. after riding the bike 50 miles and riding the bike several different ways to duplicate his complaint we found no issues. he then came to pick up the bike and left happy. a few weeks after that he was came to pick up parts that was not received yet during the build (saddle bags and lids). he stated that he had multiple people riding his bike he was not the only one that rode it, and that there was still an issue. so then again i had advised him to bring it back we would run it on the dyno while he was present and read the *** while he was standing here and trying to make it make noise while he was here and it never made any noise and the *** was where it needed to be. ( not to mention i had been to school for this specific ****** tuner which is called a TTS MASTER TUNE this is the only tuner we use for ****** ********* which i am also certified in tuning these). while running the bike on the dyno he literally had his head in-between my legs inches away from the motor trying to hear anything he could which once again never did. he then left happy a few weeks later he had called and wanted to order some parts for his bike which we did and he never returned to pick them ***** we sent them back. he had called us to ask which oil we used in his bike because he was working on the bike himself and changing his oil. i questioned it but he stated he was simply changing his oil. ( there is a magnetic drain plug on the bike which if there was debris on the drain plug im sure he would have made us aware at this point in time.) about a month later he called wanting receipt's for his build which he had received when he picked up his bike like we do with any customer. i told him when he was in town or the area i would rewrite him receipts so he had some . called multiple times asking if we had them wrote which we did but then never came to pick them up. shortly after that he had informed us that he had took his bike to another shop called us up stating that there was issues with the engine and wanted us to be responsible for the repairs that was apparently happened. he then sent us multiple pictures via ******** messenger of the parts in the bike. upon looking at the pictures he sent the pistons rings appeared to be seized from over heating and had scared the cylinder. (which is cause from heat and abuse of the vehicle). the particles that was damaged in the process obviously went threw the motor and caused more damage to the engine. after we looked at the pictures we then  talked to him on the phone, he was very aggressive yelling screaming and threating us ( calling me a p**** and that he and a few of his ******* were going to come up to the shop on that Friday to straighten things out and get copy of his receipts. which also never happened.) he then later personally was messaging my other employee ( ****** via ******** messanger) stating that who ever had the bike at this time told him that the damage that was cause could have not possibly be his fault and then demanded 4000$ to accommodate his repairs before he was going to seek further actions. we have seen these type of damage before in the 30 years of doing this type of business and it is cause from abuse/heat. finally if this damage would have been the result of proper assembly or tuning these problem would have immediately reviled them self during the tuning process of the motorcycle and not months done the road. once again we have been doing this for over  ************************************************************************************ the tri state area. if this was any way shape or form our fault we would have made it right with the customer, and obviously not from abuse! we hope this closes this matter if you need anything further from us please do not hesitate to respond as we will provide anything you need!
