This agency is contacting me via an old address to collect debt. However that debt is included in Ch 7. Filed 6/20/25. I have called and emailed them to no avail. I'm hoping to get help in getting this matter resolved. Case number is available on request.Business Response

Endoscopy procedure was done on 4/21/2025, a biopsy was completed and sent to a lab.A bill arrived on 7/30/25 for $82.50.I call the number on the bill on 8/6/2025, spoke with a representative and requested an itemized bill. Then, I called my ****************** on 8/12/2025 to see if the bill was paid. I was given a confirmation that the bill had been settled with no copayment required.I received a "final notice" bill 8/29/2025 having never received an itemization. The ten day notice says it will be sent to collections. This appears to me to be balance billing which is ILLEGAL. I will be contacting the number on the bill and my insurance on 9/2/2025. If this is not resolved with that phone call. I will be reaching out to a legal team.Business Response

Account ending on -************* contacted on 9/2/2025. Carrier stated claim was processed on 8/19/2025 and is set to pay $55.00.
Account ending on -374. An appeal was filed on 8/29/2025. Insurance contacted on 9/2/2025 to check status on appeal. Per carrier, appeal is still in process.

I am rejecting this response because:This response is a bold faced lie. This company was contact by me and my insurance on 8/12/2025, 9/2/2025 and 9/3/2025. They have never reached out to me or my insurance. The bills do not match the amount give in their response. Also had to be pressured by the insurance to give the the acct # for -374 which I have not even received a bill yet. The company told the insurance it was their fault for filing wrong. **** had paid everything they gave them and is balance billing me for the remainder. Balance billing is an illegal practice. This company is predatory.

Multiple attempts have been made to contact the patient on 9/2/2025 and
9/3/2025, with no remedy. The patient’s insurance was billed and she should
have received an Explanation of benefits on 6/02/2025, leaving a patient
responsibility of $17.72, as part of her deductible. An itemized statement was
mailed to the address on file on 9/2/2025.The patient is welcome to contact the

Medical billing dispute for lab services from PRW laboratories. Date of service 4/24/2025. APS is the billing service. I have received multiple bills for the gross amount $604.00 including a final notice. APS states that the original insurance filing was 5/12/2025. There have been multiple refilling's, The last on 8/25/2025. To date there is NO RECORD of any filings being made to Aetna Medicare. I have submitted a dispute letter to APS stating that until I receive an EOB no payment can be made since I am unable to validate the real amount due. I feel that APS is trying to coerce me into paying the gross amount in order to pocket the difference between the Medicare Approved amount and what the medicare insurance and I are responsible forBusiness Response

So I am getting harassed by ***, a 3rd party billing group for ***, for a balance I paid from last year. I have called IHA billing number and they transfer me to APS after verifying I do not have a balance. *** tells me they need proof from me, I faxed them screenshots of my payments (paperless means I can only send screenshots) and verified that they are charging me for a CPT code already billed and paid for labs done in September of 2024. *** told me once they review what I sent them, they would contact me, but that it could take months. This was June 24, 2025. I was assured I would not be sent to collections, and that the account would be frozen while they reviewed. I am now getting letters from them threatening collections.Business Response

I have now been billed by a lab using APS for payment three times despite my most recent EOB from insurance stating that my share is $0. My insurance also spoke to the *************************** by phone while I was on hold, twice, as I have spoken to insurance multiple times about this. The second and third bills from the lab are for $186 each, both for the same labwork from May 5, 2025, with $154 marked as paid in the prior (second) bill, likely by insurance, and $32 due. Now the third bill claims $32 paid and $154 due.The same $154 balance is reflected at **********************************.Business Response

The patients insurance carrier was contacted on 8/27/2025. The claim was processed in network and paid $99.82, leaving no patient responsibility. No payment was received on the initial remittance advice sent by the carrier. The claim was escalated with the carrier to be reprocessed within 10 business days. The account is currently on hold pending insurance payment. Several attempts were made to contact the patient with an update on 8/27/2025 and 8/28/2025. *** sent me a bill of $13.59 for labs that were done on 07/07/2025 which is already listed as completed on my *** insurance portal in claims. The statement date is 07/31/2025. Since theres a problem for a lot of people with getting this resolved directly with APS, I am coming directly here to resolve the issue.Business Response

I received a bill from aps at the end of June stating that I owe $2.17 for a medical balance but there was limited info on the bill and when I went to the website it seemed extremely sketchy. I don't know why someone would be trying to scam me out of a couple bucks but I don't trust it and I'm not comfortable putting any payment info on that site. Also when I compared this bill to my claims under my insurance I did have a claim for a bill of the same price but the balance, payment and adjustments did not match which was also a red flag to me. If this company is legitimate they have terrible practices and need to get it together.Business Response

I am 18yo and have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism for a couple of years now. I had my thyroid level tested on 11/5/24 which I do on a regular basis to monitor the effectiveness of my medication. My mom has been calling APS Medical Billing for me for the past 8 months to resolve the billing issues that they have caused with this lab service. We have received extremely poor customer **********************. How could they be struggling so much to get a claim processed for a thyroid blood test for someone who has hypothyroidism? Terrible. Despite our work to get this issue resolved, today (7/18/25) we do not see that there is any sense of urgency on their part to get this issue resolved.Business Response

The original charges were denied by the patients insurance due to a diagnosis exclusion. An updated diagnosis code was received via fax on 7/18/2025, from the referring physician, and a corrected claim has been submitted to his insurance. The patient was contacted on 7/21/2025 and informed that the account will remain on hold, until the insurance responds with an explanation of benefits. Please allow thirty days for the claim to be processed. If there is any remaining balance left as patient responsibility, a new statement will be mailed to the address on file. I was billed in November of last year, entirely unsure of what these charges were for- I had lab work done but I was told on a recorded line I was charged incorrectly. They would re-file and bill me correctly. I called back at minimum 5 times, and was told on the last phone call not to quit calling in unless I received a bill. This was sometime in February or March. I receive a piece of mail today that states it will be sent to collections on 6/21 and it was my final notice. These labs should have been covered per my insurance, and I also never received a bill prior to this final notice. The bill also does not explain what it is for.Business Response

A payment for $40.00 was processed on 7/8/2025, leaving a balance of $110.79. The patient is welcome to contact our office from 9 am to 8 pm,Monday to Friday to set up a payment plan.
