The remodel of our Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, and Hallway should have been done last October. One part of the job involved replacing five doors and frames all of which should have been the same color. However, the contrator installed two different colors of doors and some of the door frames were three different colors. In February, the contractor ordered new doors to fix this issue. On Friday February 23, 2024, the contractor told us that the doors would be ready for him to pick up on Monday March 4, 2024. He would pick up the doors, stain and seal them at our house. On Monday March 4th, my husband got a text saying that the doors would be ready for the contractor to pick up on Tuesday March 5th. The contractor would pick them up, stain and seal them at his shop. They did not show up at our house the entire week. Then my husband received a text on Friday March 8th saying that the contractor would stain and seal the doors next Monday March 11th let them dry on Tuesday. They would then be here Wednesday-Friday the 13th-15th to install the doors and fix the many other issues that we have. We are tired of of the contractor only working 4-6 hours a day despite being told they would work 8 hours a day to get the job done and not being told the truth and therefore can't trust that the contractor will show up on Wednesday the 13th.
