      On June 2024, Lonnie's Tree Service agreed to cut down and leave 3 pine trees. After creating a "contract" and paying more than half of the agreed upon price they have only cut down two trees. Even during the weeks of work (yes, WEEKS, because it was extremely difficult to reach them and get them to come and finish the job), they worked unreasonably slow and would usually show up and cut a few branches every hour or so. After cutting the second tree, they fully ghosted, they would not pick up the phone when called them from a number they knew was me but would pick up when calling them from a friend's phone to test. After speaking with other companies in the neighborhood, almost every single one has heard of them and warned me that they were notorious for this (I am not exaggerating, I have spoken with 4 different people/companies and all of them have said the same thing). These people are crooks, nothing else to describe them. Please don't hire them unless you tell them that you won't pay them until job is finished, absolutely no exceptions. Regardless, I would still recommend to never hire them/use their services.

      Lonnie's Tree service contacted me and have agreed to come and finish the job and make things right. They have now completed the job and collected the agreed upon payment. All is now resolved, thank you for your help. You may close this case or delete the comment.

      $500.00 cash he said if payed by check it would be $535.
      Elavate lower limbs on 2 pine trees and grind small stump all the way around base of trees and haul away. While grinding stump he broke large flower pot. He didn't complete the job. He came back to collect money. He said he would come back and finish job. He never returned. I called 14 July 22. He said he would be back in a weeks time and bring me $250.00 to settle with me. He still hasn't come to settle. I have photos if needed.

      BBB took business response by phone.

      We talked to the consumer last night and we are taking care of it Friday morning. We are refunding her $175 and will be drafting up a receipt for both of us to have.

      Consumer called BBB with her response.

      I do accept the business response and I did receive the refund of $175. I would have preferred $250 but so he wouldn't call me any more I took the $175. I also want others to be aware of what he did to me. Thank you for your help.
