• Advertising Review:

  In August 2024, BBB contacted FitDrip Vitamin Therapy regarding claims in its advertising. 
  
  Its advertising includes many health benefit claims related to the ingredients and treatments offered at its facility.  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.  For medicinal and therapeutic claims or claims to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any illness or disease, scientific clinical evidence from human clinical trials is preferred to support these claims.  Substantiation should involve human testing that is blinded, performed by an independent third party, placebo controlled, conducted on a sufficient scope of subjects, and ideally has been peer reviewed. Claims concerning overall uniquely formulated products also require testing on the combination of ingredients in the product.  Specific ingredient claims also require substantiation. Below is a sample of some of the health benefit claims in its advertising.
  "Some Benefits of IV Therapy may assist in: providing energy;  supporting immune health;  promoting cardiovascular health; reducing migraine symptoms; lessening the signs of aging; decreasing anxiety; improving athletic performance; alleviating hangover symptoms" 
  "Hangover Drip: "This Drip relieves nausea, headache and rehydrates your cells. This Drip can also be given prior to your anticipated long night to prevent that horrible hangover."
  "Our Myers Cocktail Drip offers a rejuvenating blend of essential nutrients to assist in supporting various ailments including fatigue, jet lag, low energy, depression, anxiety, muscle spasms, migraines, chronic muscle aches, and poor sleep hygiene, giving you a much-needed boost and relief." 
  "NAD+ 250mg: NAD may increase energy, combat fatigue, slow down aging, improves mental clarity and alertness, concentration and memory. NAD may also reduce cholesterol, anxiety, stress, and inflammation."
  "Vitamin D-high dose: This intramuscular injection helps the body absorb and mobilize calcium into the bones thus improving bone health, decreasing joint pain, increases energy and supports immune health.."
  "Bella 3: Slow dissolving capsule that includes caffeine, bupropion, oxytocin, topiramate, naltrexone and methylcobalamin.  Wt loss, increase libido, curbs alcohol cravings, helps with headaches and migraine prophylaxis, increase red blood cell production, energy and improve mood.."

  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, in general, advertising which uses testimonials or endorsements is likely to mislead or confuse if it contains representations or statements which would be misleading if made directly by the advertiser.  Advertisers must be able to support claims found in  testimonials used in their marketing. BBB suggests that if substantiation is not available, it would be advisable to remove such testimonials.
  
  The business initially made some changes to its claims and agreed to make further adjustments; however, to date, further changes have not been made.
