    02/2/23 I paid Aspen Dental 3566.00 to have all my teeth pulled and to have acrylic teeth made acrylic for bottom and flexilyte for top i changed my mind on getting all my teeth pulled and decided to get 4 teeth pulled on the bottom so i should have 1 acrlic and 1 flexilyte for the top partial i was chaged for 2 acrylics and 1 flexilyte i was just told today that they are waiting on my insurance to pay i talked to the insurance 2 weeks ago ans was told there was nothing turned in except for the teeth extraction and that has already been paid in July the office manager from aspen called me 2 weeks ago and said i would be getting 2600.00 dollars back as a refund and he would put it in my bank account and it should be deposited the next week and it never happened so i called today and was told they are waiting on the insurance to pay there is nothing for the insurance to pay they have already paid

    experience at the Aspen Dental branded practice located in Sandusky, OH which is independently owned
    and operated by Lakireddy Dental LLC.
    Upon receiving the complaint, the office that treated the patient will initiate an internal review of the
    issues raised. A team member from that office will then be reaching out directly to the patient within the
    next 5 business days to discuss the details of the complaint and work towards a mutually agreeable
    solution.
    We appreciate the Better Business Bureau's role in facilitating communication between consumers and
    businesses and take this matter seriously. Rest assured that we will make every effort to rectify the
    situation and provide a positive outcome for the patient.

    We was billed for a scaling and root planing for my husband, this service was not provided. This appointment was on June 28, 2023. My husband was with the hygienist approximately 15 minutes. He has had a scaling and root planing in the past, which took close to an hour. When he came out, I was shocked at how quickly he was done so I asked about it. The dental hygienist came out from the back, she stated that he did not need a scaling or root planing, so she cleaned his teeth and the final decision on that was hers. She stated our charges for the day would be $76. They billed my insurance $1072, I am livid. The other thing they needed to do was to remove some roots. On my paperwork it shows they were removing it from tooth 29 and tooth 13, which was preformed 7/8/23. With the issues we decided to see another dentist. The new dentist did some x-rays and informed us there is a root that needs removed from tooth 13. When I called Aspen dental to discuss this their answer was the dentist dead tooth 29 and tooth 12. A root at tooth 12 was never discussed.When I ask to speak to the office, managers boss, I was told he was in charge, so I have asked to speak to the owner of the Sandusky Aspen dental. They also billed our credit care and the amount of $1547, according to our insurance the amount we are responsible for is $502, and that is for scaling and planing that was not preformed. When I ask the rest be refunded he said theyll work on it it could take ***** days. It sure didnt take that long for them to take it. If you need dental work, I would highly encourage you to go somewhere else.
