damage the gutters and tried to gain On March 16th, 2023 an Omni driver backed into my driveway hitting my gutters while attempting to pick my husband, a double amptutee, up for his appointment. I witness him his attention to stop him before he continued. Once he came to a stop, him and his passanger, another Omni employee, got out of the truck and when I asked who is responsible the driver gave no response while the passagner expressed "Not me!". Once they left with my husband, I took pictures and contacted the company that installed my gutters for an estimate. Once I had this information I contacted Omni explaining the situation and I sent them a copy of the estimate that was provided to me. On March 28th, the manager, Mark, called and informed me he didn't think they had done all that damage saying their truck wasn't high enough, but we scheduled a time for him to come do an inspection, March 30th. During the next schedule pick up, March 29th, I took meausurements of the truck and the gutter. The truck measured 101 inches tall and my gutters are 97 inches high. On March 30th, while waiting for them to come, I heard a noise outside of my house and went to investiagate, I saw 2 unknown men in my driveway. When I went out my garage to see who they were I notice the Omni truck. I express that it was rude to be on someone's property without informing them first, both men ignored me and continued what they were doing. One of the men, who I believe is Mark, expressed to me that there was no way that their trucks could not have done this damage. I told him I watched the driver hit my gutters, and my husband, who was also outside with me, stated once the driver hit our gutters he pulled forward and readjusted the truck. They both completely ignored my husband and Mark continued to measure stating that there was no way this damage was done by them. Once they leave I call Omni to express my displeasure and frustration, requesting to speak to the owner about my treatment. On March 31th, Omni called and informed me they had dropped my husband as a client and who no longer providing service. and I sent them a copy of the estimate that was provided to me. and I sent them a copy of the estimate that was provided to me.Business response

On March 15th, 2023 not March 16th,2023 as stated by the patient's wife we arrived at the noted residence to provided transport for her husband. We know her date of this supposed incident is incorrect because her husband is on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule for treatment. On March 15, 2023, our dispatch received a call from the patient's wife stating that she believes that the OMNI vehicle damaged the gutters on her house and that she was getting an estimate for repair. On March 15th, 2023 an OMNI employee was sent to the residence to video and take photos of the alleged damages. While photographing and videotaping the damage it became clear to the employee that this damage may not have come from an OMNI vehicle due to the height of the gutters compared to the height of the vehicle, but possibly from a larger vehicle.
On March 21, 2023 at approximately 1:30pm we received a fax with an estimate from Leaf Guard for the amount $2,366.00. In reviewing the estimate and product list we observed items such as Leaf Guard downspouts and Leaf Guard elbows. We then reviewed the pictures taken on March 15, 2023 and saw that there was no damage to the downspouts in the pictures (1)(2) and (3). We decided after discussing this further amongst staff. We felt it best to do our due diligence and call the patient's wife to see if we will be able to bring the same vehicle back to the residence. If we planned to make a claim with our insurance carrier, we needed accurate information to give the adjuster. Mark OMNI's supervisor/manager called the patient's wife on March 28 and scheduled with her to come out on March 30th at 10:00am. After meeting at the residence and taking pictures, Mark explained that our vehicle is not tall enough to have caused the damage she is claiming, and our vehicle stand a total of 99 inches pictures (5) (6) and (7) not 101 inches as she is also claiming. In attached picture (4) you can observe that the height of the ambulance is well under the height of the gutters by approximately 5 inches if not more. Mark wanted to see if it's possible that damage further down the gutter was also not caused by our vehicle, but the patient's wife began describing OMNI employees as FAT A***S, so Mark felt it best to leave the residents to avoid any type of hostile situation. At approximately 10:14am on March 30th 2023 the patients wife proceeded to call dispatch and threaten the company with legal action even though as seen in picture (4) our vehicle is 5 inches if not more beneath the gutter. The patient's wife then proceeded to use racially biased and body shaming language to describe Mark to dispatch, which was documented and filed in an incident report. During a manager's meeting it was decided that we must discontinue all scheduled transports to the residence. We could not take the chance of subjecting another employee to an individual who is ok with using such racially biased and body shaming language.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.I did have the wrong date, but as I stated, I witnessed the driver hit my gutters. The young lady that was with him name Priscilla witnessed it to. The driver was too far over to the right in my driveway when he damaged the gutters. The last day they dropped my husband off, the two Omni employees helped me measured from the top of the van to the wheels. I had measured my gutters also we measured the van twice and it was 101 inches and we also remeasured my gutters twice the top of the gutters was 97 inches and the under part was 87 inches. Yes I got upset with Mark because was rude and didn't acknowledge that they were at my home. I tried to explain to him what happened, he ignored me and my husband and started telling me that it was impossible that they had hit my gutters. There was nothing wrong with my gutter until that driver damaged them he also hit my bricks wall in the entrance of the driveway. They need to pay for the damage they did that's all I want nothing more nothing less. Even the driver stated that he told them he hit it. They lied and told me the check was in the mail that they had turned it in to there insurance. that's why to contacted the BBB after that. Thank You ****** **** I'm sending my pictures
Regards,
