Job was started 11/2024. Silvertree stated in contract that professional outside concrete company would do the concrete. Concrete was poured & several days later started to crumble. He had the concrete company come out & they agreed it was a problem. I spoke with Silvertree & he assured me that his company (Silvertree) was an honest & reputable company that had insurance & he would “make it right.” He said we would keep an eye on it to see if it needed torn out & repoured, or epoxy. I paid him per his request in full in late December/ early January. Fast forward to late March when I reached out several times to get an end date to our project. We at this time did not have an enclosed garage & we were getting water intrusions. He assured me project would be finished, although it was usually his young crew that did not seem to be skilled exactly how to do many of the proper cuts on metal. It’s now April & I tell him I want the job finished. He came out & finished the work, not to my approval but his. He then informed me he was done & not touching another thing, and not paying for the damaged concrete. I have gotten estimates & reached out to him thru a letter, and also texts. He will not get back with me. The complete tear out of concrete is over 7,000. I have also gotten an appraisal for the epoxy with would be 4432.00. Silvertree has informed me that if he were to reimburse me “he would go bankrupt “.
