    On 12/25/2022 at approximately 8am I awoke to find my apartment flooded. After calling the emergency number I investigated the source of the water and discovered that the apartment next to mine was unheated and the water pipes had burst. The maintenance man arrived shortly after and turned off the water. At approximately 3pm someone showed up to vacuum the flooded rooms. As of today (12/28/22) I had yet to hear from anyone from the office. I called this morning and talked to ***** to inquire if the carpet would be properly cleaned and sanitized as it is beginning to smell in here and the carpet feels sticky to the touch. I was informed that I would have to file a claim with my renters insurance. My insurance agent has informed me that the policy does not cover damage of this sort. The property management company is responsible for damage to the apartment. ***** Hung up on my insurance agent when she called on my behalf. I'm still dealing with mold on the bathroom ceiling in the main bathroom for approximately 9 months now. I have called my attorney in regards to voiding my lease and I would like warn future potential renters to avoid this place at All costs. I will certainly be telling everyone I know about my experience with Perry's crossing and Town management.

    Our daughter paid an application fee and also a $200 hold fee for an apartment that she was denied for based on being just short of their 3x income of monthly rent. This requirement was never disclosed when we sat in the office after touring the place.and they also advised that she pay the $200 hold fee to held the apartment that will not be available until 12/16/23. My husband then had to pay a SECOND application fee to be a co-signer a couple days later. That in itself is bizarre since she already paid an application fee, so add the co-signer on. Her situation had changed and she requested her $200 hold fee back since she will not be taking the apartment that they wereholding even though it was not yet available. Now they are telling her that her hold fee is non refundable. She is requesting it back within the 72 hours that they stated they will refund it. The first application was denied so we had to do a second application with a co-signer and requested to cancel the hold within 72 hours of the second application with co-signer. This needs to be resolved asap.
