    On September 18, 2025 I called Kings Towing and Recovery to seek help for a jump start to a dead battery on my van.I was originally going to have Kings tow it to a ***** Dealer but their mechanic assured me he could fix it.On the next day the mechanic returned my van to me and said he tested the battery and determined it to be fine and healthy. That was not the case because the van had to be jump started three times including inside the service bay at the ***** dealer.The ***** dealer determined the battery must be replaced because it had a bad cell. The ***** dealer went on to explained that both Kings and the free battery test at the auto parts missed it because their testing equipment is inferior. Kings charged me for their bogus test. ********************* parts did theirs for free and complimentary.I paid for a bogus test from Kings I want all my money back. I called them and told them this. The owner hung up the phone on me leaving me don't choice but to file this complaint. Kings are fraudsters that pose that certified mechanics.Kings charged me $246.64 on the enclosed invoice. They weren't bashful with the bill that turned out to be all nightmare.
