I took two lowrance units to be repaired in July of 2018 ( hds-******* ) the sonar was not working . I called constantly and the excuse was always the same that the circuit boards were unavailable. Now they want my serial numbers from units that they have to trace them. The numbers are not in my manuals . I have the receipt for them when I dropped them off but the numbers were not wrote on it either . I feel if they needed them to maintain tracking they should have wrote them on receipt . I feel like I have been robbed .Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/01/13) */ Due to Covid concerns for our employees, we have encouraged customers to UPS units to us. If customer has a receipt for units he/she needs to show proof of that. Also ******** requires serial numbers for proof of ownership since we have had people demanding units that they do not own. Please provide claim numbers and serial numbers so we can trace these units thru ******. We have no trouble returning units that are identified.Initial Complaint

I sent a marine graph to Microtek in March of 2020, **** said 3.5 week time frame to evaluate due to short staff from covid. Seven months later, no graph......they will not answer phone, text or email. I have asked In email, text and by voicemail multiple times to ship the graph back to me. I did get an update 5 months ago......but obviously it's never getting repaired.Business response

I am sorry but this claim is fraudulent. We were shut down in March 2020 due to Covid so unit could not have been received by Microtek then. Our policy is and has been "For any return send email to: ************************************* with your claim#, model#, serial# (for proof of ownership) and return address for *** adult signature." I have checked the server this day and there is no such email from a ******* *****.Customer response

[BBB Transcription via Duplicate complaint]
Messaged with Microtek Marine about shipping a fishing graph to them to repair. I have followed all of their directions requesting shipping my equipment back. They have not repaired it nor will they ship it back.....I have been arguing with them for almost 2 years. I really feel this is a fraudulent company........maybe just stealing repairing and resaling equipment. Reading other complaints.......the exact same story.
