    My car was repossessed January 24,2025. On Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 I went to retrieve my items. I am missing a VERY important package and no one can seem to help me or KNOW WHERE IT IS. I contacted this business twice, and have asked for assistance with finding this item. No one seems to know where it is. I am also missing mail, along with this package. I was told to contact where the car was being auctioned. There do not have any such packages of mail within their possession from this vehicle. Someone is lying and some has stolen my items and is not admitting to it. I either want the package back, or I am pressing charges for theft and burglary. No one has ANY RIGHT to touch my items and on top of the issues, all they are doing is lying. SOMEONE HAS KNOWLEDGE OR HAS THIS PACKAGE. I WANT MY ITEMS BACK IMMEDIATELY OR BE REIMBURSED SAID VALUE OF MY ITEMS WHICH IS BACKED BY A RECEIPT OF THE AMOUNT OF $147.00. I WOULD HATE TO HAVE PRESS THEFT CHARGES FOR THIS BUT THIS IS ABSOLUTELY WRONG. Someone needs to contact me immediately. There is also certified mail receipts totaling in the amount of $200 missing that were placed within this car also. I want ALL MY ITEMS BACK.

    We have reached out to the customer on this issue. We asked how they would like us to resolve the issue she is experiencing. With no luck we have not gotten a response back from the customer.

    My car was in an accident and my car company told my car to American recovery ******* * ****** company. The accident was on February 14, 2023. And today is May 22, 2023. And my car was badly damaged and I couldn’t drive it my insurance Safeauto was trying to tow my car to fix it but Chris and his wife wouldn’t let us tow my car. He was being really rude and impatient. I live in Akron and my car was in Cleveland so I was having trouble going back-and-forth. He wouldn’t let me take the car unless someone from the towing company and my insurance to be there with me in order for me to get the car, he wouldn’t let my insurance to even told the car. And when I called them, he will tell me one thing and then when my insurance call them, he will tell them another thing because of that we couldn’t pick the car up he wouldn’t let us. And he had the car longer than he should. I had to spend so much money just for me to go pick up the car I I spent over $300 just for me to go from Akron to Cleveland because I have no transportation and I went there many time.

    WE ADVISED THE COMPLAINING CONSUMER SEVERAL TIMES THAT SHE NEEDED SET UP AN APPOINTMENT WITH OUR OFFICE TO PHYSICALLY BE AT OUR LOCATION IN ORDER TO RELEASE THE VEHICLE TO A 3RD PARTY TOWING COMPANY. SHE WAS VERY UPSET THAT SHE LIVES IN AKRON AND WE ARE LOCATED IN CLEVELAND. CONSUMER CAME TO OUR LOCATION SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT HAVING AN APPOINTMENT AND EACH TIME WE ADVISED HER THAT WE DO EVERYTHING BY APPOINTMENT ONLY AND SHE WOULD HAVE TO SCHEDULE ACCORDINGLY. WE ADVISED HER INSURANCE COMPANY THE SAME THING SEVERAL TIMES THROUGHOUT THE PAST WEEK AS WELL. UNFORTUNATELY WE CANNOT RELEASE STORED COLLATERAL TO A 3RD PARTY UNLESS OUR CLIENT NOTIFIES US OF THIS AND THEY HAVE NOT. THE CONSUMER MAKING THIS COMPLAINT IS NOT OUR CLIENT. UNFORTUNATELY THE CONSUMER IN THIS MATTER EXPECTED US TO GO AGAINST OUR CONTRACT WITH OUR CLIENT IN ORDER TO RELEASE HER CAR AND WE ADVISED HER THAT WE WOULD NOT DO THAT. WE HAD SEVERAL CALLS FROM THE CONSUMERS INSURANCE COMPANY AND TOWING COMPANY AS WELL TRYING TO OBTAIN THE VEHICLE AND WITHOUT THEM BEING AN AUTHORIZED PARTY WE WERE UNABLE TO ANSWER MOST OF THIER QUESTIONS DUE TO FEDERAL PRIVACY LAWS THAT GOVERN THE REPOSSESSION INDUSTRY. 

    THE CONSUMER DID COME IN TODAY AND SIGNED ALL RELEASE PAPERWORK NEEDED IN ORDER TO RELEASE HER VEHICLE WHILE 3RD PARTY TOWING COMPANY WAS HERE AS WELL. CONSUMER ADVISED THAT THE ONLY REASON THAT SHE MADE A COMPLAINT WAS THAT HER INSURANCE COMPANY TOLD HER TO AND THAT WE WERE NOT RUDE TO HER SHE JUST DIDNT UNDERSTAND THE PROCESS.
