**** Pound Construction told me he was going out to measure a garage door to give me a proposal on replacing the door for me. He gave me a proposal, I signed it and sent it back, then asked for a **** for the deposit he wanted paid before he ordered the door. I heard nothing back for two weeks, then proceeded to email him and call his office multiple times to make sure the project was moving forward, I received no responses. Then two months later he finally responded to an email and said he needed to measure the door and give me a quote on it. I called his office and left a voicemail very confused and received no calls back. I then emailed the confusion and forwarded the original signed proposal back to him again. He then went out to the garage and just sent an email back of a photo of the garage that that locked and could not get into it, no words at all. I got him access with a lock box to the garage the next day, then he sent me another quote $500 more than the original that was already signed. I called him immediately and he said that he never went out the first time to measure and he didn't know the size of it. I asked him why he sent a quote to me then in the first place, and he couldn't give me a sound answer other than he's busy and has a lot of clients. He refused to adhere to the first proposal that was signed. I will not move forward with doing business with this man and I recommend no one else does either.I am a Construction Project Manager and work with subcontractors every day and this is the first sign of a very untrustworthy company and someone that won't do what they say they are going to do.
