Contacted a Touch of Landscapes, LLC.,12342 Abbey Road, North Royalton, for stamped concrete. Nick P*******, Owner. Received quote of $3900.00 for a patio. He wanted cash. I picked out a color & was told by Nick that a different color would look better. I went with his recommendation. I was assured that this color would be the best & look beautiful, that he had it at his house. That was not the case for this job. Color is uneven, heavy in spots & not complimentary to the house. This company ended up doing the patio at the end of October. The ground was wet. They did not put any wood or protection down to protect the grass from being driven on. There was extreme mud & deep ruts in the yard, resulting in mud onto my brick home & all down the driveway. They came back & somewhat fixed the yard on the side, filled in the ruts that were made with dirt, threw grass seed down, cleaned driveway, cleaned white powder like substance off brick, got his dark concrete stain off my other patio & picked up the rocks/pebbles that was left in yard. Leaving actual concrete in the brick, on the downspouts, even on the windowsills. The pour & stamp is very wavy, dips down toward the house. Have to squeegee water away from the house w/heavy rains. There is a risk I may need waterproofing done, meaning the concrete may need to be torn out. Also the concrete goes right up to the the sandstone basement window sills. With hot & cold friction there is now a risk of the sandstone cracking &/or windows breaking. The low spots/teeter-totter spots hold water, leaves stay in the low areas-finish gets ruined. I have pictures of the dips in concrete, water that flows to house, all the concrete on house & window sills with hand prints. Had to hire someone to get concrete off brick as Nick has ignored me. I paid $300 I would like reimbursed. Nick is completely ignoring me as he has in the past. Last text message sent was December 19, 2021.
