    Date of the transaction: 07 May 2023 The amount of money: U$ 30,120.00 What the business committed to provide: Estimate attached Subject: Extremely Dissatisfactory Bathroom Update Service To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to file a formal complaint against VSA Construction www.vsaconstruction.com regarding the bathroom update they recently conducted in my home. The quality of their work and the overall experience have been nothing short of a disaster. VSA, mainly Steven A**** and his father, were hired to perform a complete bathroom renovation, which was promised to be completed to the highest standards of craftsmanship. However, from the onset, I have encountered a series of issues and problems that have left me and my family deeply dissatisfied: Delays and Incompetence: The project was significantly delayed beyond the initially agreed-upon timeline (before vacation on Aug 4, 2023). The delays were often attributed to their team’s inability to coordinate and manage the project effectively. Substandard Workmanship: The work performed in my bathroom is of extremely poor quality. Tiles are uneven, grout lines are inconsistent, and fixtures were installed haphazardly. Defective Materials: The materials used were not of the promised quality, leading to ongoing leaks and structural integrity issues – see photos of the dining room and kitchen attached. Safety Hazards: I have identified several safety hazards in the work performed by VSA, including unfinished wiring and inadequate waterproofing. I was so insecure that I had to call a second Opinion constructor to confirm such a poor job – Text sent to the VSA Manager. Unresolved Issues and Lack of Communication: Despite my repeated requests, VSA has failed to rectify all the issues and bring the project up to the standard initially promised. After the last payment, there was a complete lack of effective communication in postponing dates to come back. My attempts to reach out to Steven to address my concerns were often met with unresponsiveness or vague responses. Considering these circumstances, I am seeking a resolution that includes at least a HALF refund of the project to hire a new competent contractor to correct the subpar work performed by VSA. I believe it is crucial for the Better Business Bureau to investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that other consumers are not subjected to the same level of incompetence and negligence. I have attached the original contract and photographs to support my claims. I kindly request that you initiate an inquiry into this matter and work towards a fair resolution on my behalf.
