      Date: 06/21/2023 Acct/Tracking ticker#: ****** pairs of shoes/Amount: $64.80 I took my **** **** Loafers to the shop on ***** ******* **** *********, OH for repair of my leather uppers/hand sewed soles/ handmade pinch tassels loafers/ shoes /hand antiqued leather uppers color of cognac shoe/loafers genuine hand sewn soles (bottom of shoe) combination stacked leather heel size 9.5 Narrow some time pass went to pick up my loafers/shoes which is one of a kind and they could not find my shoes I dropped off, either the shoes grew legs and walked out of the shop or the staff sold/stole them the shoes are irreplaceable I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau as well as small claim court when a person take shoes in for repair you expect to pick up your shoes not "we can't find them" I am very upset or this entire matter I recommend anyone going to the multiple locations of ***** shoe repair DO NOT GO find another shop if u want your shoes back. I talked to the owner, and he stated he needed time to find the shoes. He stated he would get back to me in 10 days I have not heard from him after 15 days which has passed. I advised him if he did not get back to me, I would be filing a complaint with the BBB. We talked and he said he would get back to me, which he has not done at this point I am filing a complaint. over the disappearance of my custom-made **** **** leather uppers/ hand sewed soles (bottom of shoe)/ handmade tassels. This shoe is not made any more by **** **** and was expensive ($200.00) when I bought them 14 years ago. I am terribly upset and angry over this matter.

      The African American male attendant did a sloppy job on my boots. The lady attendant brought it to his attention, and he came over to talk to me about it. The guy was just saying to me "Do you understand?" Showing me what he had done. The boots were made of a synthetic type of suede and the hem was on the outside of the boots. The hems were too long so he was to hem them and make them come off the ground. The hems were still hanging on the ground and one boot the main back stich was crooked (very). He acted like he wanted me to ignore this, and he spoke very harshly saying, he would take the hem down and give them back to me as they were before. He smelled of marijuana and was very crude. I was very unhappy with this work, however I paid and when I came home, I called for the manager. I was shocked to find that the manager was the woman who gave me the boots from the shelf and acted like she had no concerns of how he was talking to me. When she said she was the manager on the phone. I asked her did she not remember me with the "yellow boots.: She replied she did. I told her how rude he was (she was standing there at the time) and My mouth just dropped when she said, "I know he can be a bit raw with customers, I will speak to him about it. Why did she not intervene when I was at the store? I also told her about his smelling of weed. She took up for him and said she had just given him a cigarette which was a lie because I was right behind the guy when they first opened their doors on Saturday morning. I was one of the first customers. The fellow went to his working station and was talking to a Hispanic guy then she called him over. Maybe after the incident occurred, he had a cigarette but definitely not before. I have decided not to patronage with this store location at all. When the manager is just as bad as the workers it is terrible. I was not offered the attempt for the weed smelling man to do them over or anything. Bad business manner.
