      Entered by BBB staff DC. Consumer states called about 2 weeks ago and needed out of the hone by the March 10. Business has white glove package where they come in a package everything. The packers would arrive between March 7 & 8 and the truck would pick up everything on the 9th. Called a week before the move to confirm they would be out. The owner stated the home was only 1400 sq feet and they would not be out on the 7th or 8th. He does big business and the job is very small. Consumer stated there is a basement & garage. Originally quoted $2000 for the move. Arrived on the 9th, looked around and said there is a lot of work to be done and the price was now $6500. The consumer paid $6500. The kitchen, master bathroom, guest bathroom, master closet, smaller closet, broom closet & the hall closet was not touched. No curtains were removed. Personal vehicles were used by consumer to transfer boxes. The movers did not put furniture, etc into the new home. They tore mattress and took $50 off the bill. Consumer feels they didn't get the white glove package as the consumer got other people to help with the move and paid more money.
