On 8/1/23, I took my 2005 Road King to this dealership and asked to have my bike lowered, full maintenance completed, and handlebars adjusted. Please note that I'm a new rider and owner. I was told that I needed to get new shocks without the service person looking at the bike or me on it. He quoted me a price of about $1700. Then on 8/30/23, I received a call from a Noel to give him a call back. So, on 8/31/23 I call him back and was told that there was some leakage in the engine and needed some gaskets replaced and something in the forks that caused a sponginess. He said that those things needed to be completed for rider safety. He then quoted me a price of $3757.99 and I said ok go ahead and do the work. I paid them the total balance on 9/8/23. Then after complaining to the manager over the store and speaking to the person that I bought the bike from; I was told that the shocks that was on the bike were the 2019 HD Road King model, and the bike couldn't be lowered anymore and that I would have to change the set. So, I ordered the set! The manager then asked if I was fitted for the set or the handlebar adjustment and said no, so he told them to do it then I was told that the bike was on a left and I would have to come back another day for that. I did that. Then they were trying to get me to get some paint work done for about another $1200 and buffing of the side bags for more money. I got fed up and said forget the paint and buffing, and the then said my bike was ready and dropped it off to me on or about 9/22/23. The delivery person parked a good distance away so that he could have a chance to take the bike for a ride. The set does not fit right and is loss. When I called to speak to the service manager, he said that I could bring it back and they can try to adjust it. But before that I was told I would be called in to sit on it to make sure I got the right bike.
