5 starsMy husband and I had our kitchen re-done a month ago and have had time to live with the results. We are very pleased with the outcome. The quality of the product and workmanship is outstanding. Our refaced cabinets are not only attractive but are easy to clean. American Wood Reface installed a new stand-alone cabinet with countertop that is also good-looking and functional. The sales representative we initially worked with has an excellent sense for color and design and was very helpful. The installer for our project was also highly skilled and conscientious. He worked steadily to complete the job in the time promised and cleaned-up each day. The hinges used in our new cabinet doors are the only minor drawback. They are large and extend into the interior of the cabinet which reduces shelf space. However, this has not been a large problem for us.
If a kitchen is in need of updating and cabinet refacing is chosen, we highly recommend American Wood Refacing.Review fromCatherine G

5 starsWow! My experience with American Wood Resurface exceeded my expectations. After reading EVERYTHING I could find about the company, their products and services, I felt confident in choosing AWR to resurface my kitchen cabinets which included converting lower cabinets to drawers. ***, my sales **** was very knowledgeable, made great recommendations to tweak some of my decisions, and I never felt pressured at all. *******, my *********, is a highly skilled craftsman who truly cares about doing quality work. He worked diligently each day, took care to clean up each day and at the end of the job. By far, ******* is the most skilled and conscientious serviceman I have ever had do any kind of work for me over 50+ years. My project was completed within 8 days and kept to my budget. 5 starsMy wife and I are extremely pleased with our refaced cabinets, new doors and drawers, countertop, cooktop, sink, faucet and disposer. We purchased the last three items separately but American Wood Reface (AWR) installed them. Furthermore it was pleasant dealing with all the folks at AWR. I would especially like to acknowledge the fine workmanship of *******, who was the principal installer as well as electrician and plumber. He was very careful while in our house and made every effort to protect or floors and carpets and he was meticulous every step of the installation. A mis-measured drawer and a late cabinet change added another week to the two-week long project. There are a few cautions I have for potential customers. First, about the sawdust. Because our installation was in February, the custom sawing was done in our 2.5 car garage. Unfortunately, the sawdust flew onto every surface throughout the garage. Big cleaning job! Second, our old cabinet door opened 180 degrees; the new doors open only 90 degrees, so watch your head when you are around an open door. Lastly, the new drawers open fully and have the soft-close brackets; but they are 3/4" shallower than our old drawers so some re-adjustment in the way used them was required. All-in-all, our experience was positive and we heartily recommend AWR kitchen remodeling.Review fromBarbara T

5 starsWe loved what American Wood Reface did for our kitchen update. Never imagined how many small details and carpentry it takes to do this job well. ******* is a very talented and hard worker who took very few breaks and seemed to be working through any snack he took during the day. Left our kitchen at the end of the day, clean enough that we could use it to prepare an evening meal with some use of the stove/ oven. Great company reputation and certainly more affordable than completely redoing the kitchen, which had excellent quality cabinets to work when adding new doors, drawers, hardware and more.Review fromMichelle M

We did not want to go full gut on a kitchen project and they were able to work with us and tailor to our customization while keeping core cabinets in tact. Communication was great from start to finish and the installers did a great, thorough job. 5 starsI seek out appreciate reviews when looking for goods and services so I’d like to return the favor. Actually, this is kind of a two-for-one review… we heard about this company from my brother-in-law, who was also very pleased with the work they did for him. From our first phone call to the completion of the job, I couldn’t be happier. The sales rep explained the process thoroughly and made several suggestions to improve the appearance and functionality of our cabinets, without any upcharge. The carpenter showed up on time, and cleaned up thoroughly each day and at the end of the project. Since completion, I’ve been busy cleaning, lining shelves and painting, so I’ve been up close and personal with these cabinets, and the workmanship is impeccable. On top of everything else, their price came in at several thousand dollars less the quote we got from another company. I’m delighted to recommend American Wood Reface.American Wood Reface, Inc.
