In 2017 I chose this school based on reviews. Now I know better, reviews are not always the truth or they are simply subject to opinion. I did not know a thing about dog grooming and I believed what ***** told me over the phone, I could learn dog grooming in two weeks. The classroom had a lot of drama in it and I groomed one dog the entire time aside from the groom for the final exam. Everyone learns at a different pace and I suggest a longer school for at least three months! The classes should be small, especially if there is only one teacher. This class was a gift from my parents at the time and unfortunately, I was not able to sustain a career after this school. My Mom never got to see me become a groomer because she passed away a few years later. If I could do this all over again, I would NEVER have chosen ************** In fact, there are not too many schools in this country that I would go to. Its all about the money for most owners of schools, not the learning! Your school is the foundation for your future and it will make or break you as a groomer! The career itself is tough, most salons the groomers are caddy and thats an understatement. Pet parents can be very picky and the dogs you never know what you are going to have on your table! Its best to live in a busy area year-round, otherwise your pay will be very inconsistent. Most groomers that I know of today that have been grooming for over 10 years, have aches and pains from carpal tunnel, back issues, etc., etc. I fortunately have a background in fitness so even going into this later in life I seem to be fine as far as the physicality of it all! If you do become a groomer and survive through all of it, its best to work for yourself! Fast-forward today, I am grooming. I still feel its a tough career but it definitely offers job security and the opportunity to make good money is there! I hope my Mom knows that her generous gift idea EVENTUALLY paid off! Thanks Mom! ??

Where do I Begin? Nancy and Doug are the nicest and sweetest people you'll ever meet. The Information they share is endless. They go above and beyond to make your dreams come true. This is by far the best school around, they offer a clean environment to learn with all the equipment needed to be the best groomer ever. I have learned so much in the time I spent with Nancy and Doug at Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School. I highly recommend checking them out!

Diamond Dog is a great groomer. I switched to them after a friend referred them and will never go back to big groomers anymore. Not only do my dogs feel welcome there so do I.

Worst school would never recommend to anyone. You will not be taught anything about ethical dog grooming run don’t walk away from this school I attended in November and I’m still having hard time getting my refund due to teacher telling to leave class due to me being cautious as student as trying to actually learn something she was very rude inappropriate towards the students allowed students to yell at the dogs saying just not to do it while the customers were in the room she let’s few of her dogs run around the room disturbing you while grooming or fighting with each other or nipping at you she will shock them with her shock collar she misses everything in her list to teach she tries to sell you items that are either from temu or Amazon items that are only $40 for $300 plus claiming it’s her own product which I have proof of the items

Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School is a unique school it is hands down the best Dog Grooming School in Ohio. I like the fact that you get to have actual hands on experience grooming actual customers’ dogs, when you attend/ enroll at Diamond Cut you get to experience what it would be like to work in a shop. I like the fact that Nancy is right there to help you and support you along the way, and that ***** is always honest and truthful when it comes to grooming, she doesn’t sugarcoat. I will take everything that I have learned at Diamond Cut, all the different techniques and apply it to a job that I get. If I ever need help in the future with a dog, I will come to ***** for advice because she is the best teacher you can get and also a lifelong friend.

If you are wanting to learn the proper techniques, tools and helpful resources for dog grooming- then consider Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School. I was able to successfully complete multiple Dog Grooming services during my school hours. I was given support before, during and after school. I would attend this school again.

As a student I’m glad I chose Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School. The class size was small, so not only did you have the opportunity to learn a lot or you also make lifelong friends. ***** and **** and their dogs were so welcoming to all of us. My experience at Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School I think the best place to start is the beginning. When I first walked into the school it felt homey and I enjoyed the log cabin look on the inside of the building. **** and ************************* are very welcoming and instantly made me feel relaxed and excited to start learning. They were extremely encouraging and patient with all of the students. I loved how excited they got themselves when that 'light bulb' came on and we understood what we were supposed to be doing and how to do it! They stressed safety for both the humans and the pets, and I finished school with barely a scratch! Everything **** and ***** taught, which was A LOT, was taught effectively and efficiently. There was always a purpose to the instructions they gave and I'm glad I followed them! ( And took a lot of notes! ) Being around ************ was as fun as it was tiring; I enjoyed every minute of it! I can't thank the ********* enough for sharing their knowledge with myself as well as with hundreds of students from around the world. Their expertise is unbelievable! You can write several large books with all the things you can learn from them! If I were to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. Attending the Diamond Cut Dog Grooming Classes has been one of the best decisions of my life! Thank you ****! Thank you *****!
