    SHADY, STAY AWAY.
Bought a used CX-5 here online. Nick Mayer bought that from an auction from Canada. Damage worse than reported on carfax and no dealerships will take a car that originated from Canada as trade in. Had to sell third party for about half of what I would've gotten as a trade in.
    Sleazy practices - **** **** *****. Zero stars.

I went to Nick Mayer's on Mayfield Road to get my F350 oil change, and I received the best service from Tom T and Manager Jess. The customer service from these two was excellent. They went above and beyond what I had expected. They thoroughly reviewed my vehicle and found an issue that needed to be corrected, and yes, they did that. No worries. My truck is running better than ever. I recommend them to anyone looking for quality service

I would seek someone else to fix your car because the mechanics are shadey at this dealership. They tried to charge me 1178.00 for a tune-up on my vehical and it had a tune up before I brought it to them. When I said I was not going to pay that they told me to come get my car. That was a couple of day ago. I sent my husband to pick up my car and now it doesn't start! No one had a clue why. So now everyone is like we'll we knew nothing of it. Come to find out they took my spark plugs and coils out of my car. I never told you to do that!. Now they want to charge me 202.00 for a diagnostic. So now we are sabotaging people car and making things hard for the consumer. The GM is no help at this location

Mia, we are very sorry that your experience with us was not excellent. We have a responsibility to ethically diagnose vehicle repairs, and share that information with our clients. The removal of those parts, were in anticipation of information from you in regards to the repair. Upon your arrival the vehicle was put back together, and it left without incident. You were charged for that diagnostic work.

On May 21, 2024 at 10:30am, Nick Mayer Ford came to my home and took my car to be serviced with the 30,000 Maintenance program. Prior to the pickup, I informed them that I would need my car for work the following day before 7:00am. They promised that my vehicle would be returned to me before the end of the work day on May 21. At 5:00 pm on that day, I had not heard from the dealership! I called numerous times and got nothing but voicemail. I left numerous messages until I finally reached the person who originally scheduled my vehicle to be serviced. He initially informed me that he couldn’t find any information that indicated that my vehicle had been serviced or where it was located. Subsequently, he called me around 6:30pm to inform me that he had found my car sitting outside in the lot with nothing having been done regarding servicing! I told him that I was coming to get my car via **** because I had to be at work by 7:00am the following morning. And I told the scheduler that I no longer trusted Mayer Ford to work on my car. They had my car for the entire day of May 21, didn’t do any servicing to it, and didn’t have the courtesy to call me to let me know the status of my car, especially when I told them that I needed my car the next day for work. Additionally, when I told them that I was coming to retrieve my car by way of ****, the scheduler said that they would pay for the **** service. Once again they lied. They did not offer to pay my **** bill. To this day, they have not followed up or called me.
I will never ever utilize their service again! I will also share my experience with others including on social media.
I also want to emphasize how disrespectful and rude the receptionists and telephone operators were to me when I was trying to reach management the following day regarding my car. I called about 8 times. Prior to this dilemma, I was considering purchasing a newer car from Mayer Ford. As a result of their behavior towards me, they have lost a sale.

I’m writing today to notify potential customers of Nick Mayer Ford and how they treat their customers. My comments today reflect what took place on Tuesday May 21st.
My significant other scheduled her car to be worked on yesterday by Nick Mayer Ford. The Service Department picked up her car (at her residence) and promised to deliver the car back to her before the end of the day. She was going to need her car to go to work today (at 7:00am).
At 5:00 pm yesterday, she had not received a call from Nick Mayer Ford nor was her car returned to her! We call the Service Department numerous times before we finally were able to speak to the person who was responsible for scheduling her original appointment. He initially conveyed that he had no idea where her car and/or keys was located, and that he didn’t have any information that showed whether or not her car was serviced.

Apparently, at Nick Mayer Ford, the right hand didn’t know what the left hand was doing! Finally, after much discussion with the employee who wrote the initial order, I informed him that I was coming there to retrieve our car, because we no longer trusted them to do the work. Their actions, lack of proper and responsible communication, and the willful neglect of not taking care of our car (to our satisfaction as was agreed upon) has compelled us to never do business with them again!
Additionally, when I told the Service Department Employee(who I referenced above) that I was going to take Uber there to retrieve our car, he promised that they would pay for said Uber. THEY DID NOT OFFER TO PAY UBER after I arrived! Additional evidence of their lack of trustworthiness!

We will be contacting the BBB in order to file a complaint against Nick Mayer Ford! Their actions and behavior towards us is inexcusable!!!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO MORALS!!!!
I was helping my elderly parents purchase a specific vehicle from this dealership. So we made an appointment (like we're supposed) to come and purchase the vehicle. I even offered to leave a deposit to hold the vehicle and they said they don't do that anymore. My parents haven't purchased a new vehicle in over 22 years so this is a BIG deal to us! We both drove over an hour away to meet at the dealership for our appointment. I even confirmed that the vehicle was there and available before we left! The answer was yes we even pulled it out front for you. My mom was so excited!
We get to the dealership on time for our appointment only to be told to wait in the lobby. We waited for OVER and HOUR with no answers. Only to finally be told that the vehicle was sold out from under us. SHAME ON YOU! No remorse from the employees or GM other than "sorry, we messed up"...
What else would they do to sell cars? I will never think about doing business with this dealer.

Pretty incredible that this dealership is still even operating. The few review here are all poor reviews. Our experiences with this dealership are worse than all the reviews for Nick Mayer Ford. This WAS a great dealership for 50 years when it was run by caring professionals and was called ******** ****. But when it became Nick Mayer it progressively went straight into the absolute worst place to even consider buying a car/truck and the service department is even worse. Do yourself a HUGE favor and don't waste your time with these people. I suggest you simply call the dealer and after you get a perpetual run around on their CRaZy phone system where you will spend 20 & 30 minutes to finally reach NOBODY and get disconnected a dozen times while you are in the process. It's actually much like a JOKE that is NOT funny at all. ABSOLUTELY pathetic. It also states here that Nick Mayer Ford is NOT BBB Accredited. Well gee, I wonder WHY? Is it because they are 100% terrible on every level of the spectrum, that they do not care or that NOT ONE PERSON there even knows the difference between a tire, a wheel, an engine or a hubcap. Geez, they don't even know how to answer the phone. In closing, one VERY BAD experience after another, and another and another.

I bought my car completely online. Everyone was friendly which is the only reason I'm giving 1 star, otherwise I would give none. I bought a 2016 Honda accord. Pictures looked awesome, specs, mileage, service was good so I thought ok good deal. When they delivered the car it had no floor mats and the second key didn't work, bummer but ok I'll deal. Fast forward I've had the car for 5 months. Month 1 (before I made the first payment) it had a front tire with leak that needed replaced. Month 2 go to plate my car and find out that even though my fees were included in my loan they didn't calculate the tax difference correctly from ohio to indiana so I had to cover the difference at the license branch. Month 3 1st nice sunny day and I notice several scratches that have what appears to be cheap repair paint. Month 4 I'm replacing brakes! Start of month 5... battery/alternator!!!! I was definitely taken advantage of! I don't know if they would've done this if I was local but it seems like they are not on the up and up and now I'm fixing a car that was sold as a car that had been checked over and was in great condition. Buyer beware this place should be held accountable
