Treated poorly by this organization (who bought-out another agency) when we called to see what adjustments could be made to our policies. Was transferred to several people, each who said the next "could help with that." Last one we talked to said "The Bill is the Bill. You HAVE to pay it." In thirty-five years with Allstate, we've NEVER encountered such refusal to assist us, just a greedy "Pay your Bill." **** to another Allstate Agent who was of great help: the policy was old, dated. This new agent was able to provide us with extensive discounts, far far better coverage, and SAVED US $1400/year. That's $1400 that COUGHLIN won't be 'stealing' from us anymore! COUGHLIN is a used car dealer. Take your Auto Insurance needs elsewhere.

Mr. ******* policies were very recently transferred to our agency from another agency that is no longer active. Our office did NOT buy out another agency, corporate Allstate assigned the customer to us. On 4/13/23 **************** called in to go over his auto policy. One of our customer service members attempted to verify the vehicles listed on the customers policy and the customer interrupted the team member and cut her off. Then the team member nicely explained he *** be interested in another type of auto policy that *** help lower his rate based on his stated driving habits. Per Allstates guidelines, all calls are recorded and we are happy to provide that copy to the BBB for your review. **************** called the call a waste of time and hung up on the customer service member as she was explaining she would have a sales professional work up a new policy proposal. Customer then called back on 4/19 at approximately 8:30a.m. and yelled profanities on a voicemail why we werent answering our phone. Our office does not and has not ever opened until 9am. To use words like stealing are unfounded and libel. On the recorded line the team member never said words like Pay your bill, and they did not even discuss payment, bill type or amount, or anything close to what this customer is alleging. Our office is located inside of a NEW car dealership which our customers love. We are able to help speed up the claims process, help with rental cars in house, and assist our customers in ways traditional agencies are not able.
