    My air conditioning went out, so I reached out to Future Air. It was a capacitor on the outside condenser, which is a $30 part at ********* Supply, where they get their parts.
    The part that they replaced mine with was smaller, which wasn't necessarily unusual, but instead of using a metal clamp to secure the capacitor, they used a plastic wire tie.
    They also charged me $350 just for the capacitor. I'm also concerned that the part that they replaced is the not the correct one, and that it may fail.
    I contacted the manager Adam about the price gouging of the part, and he was apathetic about the whole thing, and stood his ground. I do understand that these guys do mark up the price of parts, but 11X the price of the part is RIDICULOUS! On top of the $150 service fee for the 15 minutes the tech was there, it cost me $500 to replace a $30 part.
    I would not recommend using Future Air at all.

    Our air conditioning went out and they did come in a timely manner but sent a technician who just finished school and clearly had no idea what he was doing. Our unit had the old freon and it needed 2 pounds to temporally fix it until we could get a new system due to a leak. They charged us almost $300 per pound plus the service fee of $200. So, for a guy who did not know the simple diagnostic testing, we paid $900. Our home did cool off for a few days and it went out again. They sent the same technician out the next day and once again, the freon was leaking and they gave us a free pound. I do not recommend this company to anyone. They are unprofessional and are not qualified to do what they claim to do.
