      Issue:
      Oldskool construction was contracted to install a sewer on my new build home property at **** ***** *** ******* ******** ***** *****.

      After a 6 month delay in starting project the work commenced Monday August 10th and abruptly stopped. A fiber optic line was not indicated on engineers survey and there was not enough room to install manhole cement box into the ground. City stopped allowing work. Oldskool filled in the trench with gravel and left on the 13th.

      I got legal advice and worked with the city and they agreed to let us move the box one foot to accommodate the cement box.

      Monday sept 30th, after working with city, and having our original engineer adjust plans, we were good to start up work again.

      Currently the building lot is filled with huge sewer components and the neighbors sidewalk and tree have been torn out. See attached pics.

      We cannot move forward with build due to them not giving us a start date. They have not responded AT ALL to emails, texts and calls at all since they left. This is not highly unusual because their response rate was lacking the first time. We waited approximately 6 months l while I lost over 4k in carrying costs waiting for them to start….

      My insurance company needs a start date to be able to re-write the builders insurance I have on property which is expiring due to waiting 6 months for sewers the first time…... Without it nothing can move forward and stand to loose 300k…..

      My builder found this construction firm but had me sign the contract with him hence, I am the one filing this claim. Builder is Hubbard Construction.

      I just got a resolution and need to cancel it.
