10/16/2021 met with funeral home. requested fathers ring. they stated it would be removed and given to us called repeatedly for the death certificate and ring, no calls back 11/5/2021 met again for my mother's passing. asked about the ring* **** said we would get it when we picked both parents up. we asked for them to be mixed together in 2 urns several more phone calls about both death certificates and the ring. 12/1/2021- called. ***** will have to call us back as there is a funeral. she will call back after 1. My sister called back at 5....***** will have to call you back. 12/2/2021-several messages left. finally talked to *****, ***** stated she has not received any messages, this is not true...have called every single day. she stated the ring was destroyed during cremation and she sifted through the ashes looking for something. My sister reminded her that **** said they had the ring. Her reply was **** doesn't know anything. my brother called the crematorium and they were appalled that we just found out about it. The crematorium also stated that THEY looked through the ashes for any signs of the ring and were not able to find it. ***** called them on 10/20/2021 when my dad went to crematorium and it was to late. My mothers obituary is still not online, she passed 11/03/2021 They do not return calls. They realized their mistake and never bothered to call us. Like I stated we were in there again for my mother on 11/05/2021, she lied to us. In this most horrific time in our lives, we looked for a funeral home to help us with the loss of both of our parents. However, they have failed to do so. We should not have to beg for my fathers ring, death certificates or to be called back. They should be forthcoming on a mistake. The ring is irreplaceable. Very upset and disheartened to be lied to and avoided.
