I was pressured into a contract with United Readers Service contract in March of 2023 and have been trying to end the service agreement with them. Every I spoke to a representative of theirs I was treated extremely rude and decided that I needed to make sure all my conversions with them were recorded in some way so I emailed their customer service team explaining that their staff has been extremely rude and unprofessionally and I did not want to be contacted via phone because of this and to please email me back and let me know how to end this service immediately. They would not email me back and called me a few times. Once I received a voice mail from a senior account manager named Deirdre I called her back, I got permission from her to record our conversion and have saved this recording for my records. She told me there was no way to end the contract and my only options were to change what magazines but I pointed out that in the recording it does say they would work with me on the payments if need be and I insisted that they work with me due to the fact that I have lost my income and that they have been extremely rude to me and threatened to send me to collections. I finally got her to agree to pay off the account early and end the contract. The discount is pathetic but it is a discount. The balance I owe is $758.10 and she said I could pay $720.00 to pay it off but that the magazines would continue to be sent for the full term of the agreement. I will be paying this off and watching my accounts to make sure that they do not charge me again. She says that sense the magazines do start off delayed that they should stop May 2026 but might take as long as June 2026. Anyone struggling to end their service with this company I would recommend calling Dierdre at eight hundred, eight six zero, seven three two three Ex 447, you will be told you have to pay it off in a lump sum but you can end this nonsense.

Scam. Never ordered from them and they sent my business an invoice. I didn't order so I didn't open the invoice link since it could have contained a virus. I don't trust them at all. I wish I could give zero stars. They sent me a paper invoice! I put legalshield on them, and they quickly caved and sent me a letter saying to disregard any invoices. What a horrible company, terrible scam. We never signed up, and they tried to get us to pay anyway.

They first called me and said that I entered a sweepstake and won something and to get that prize I would give them some info. They talk about prizes and stuff and what i would want. I didn't even know that they sold magazine or anything. The person I talk to just ask me about my hobby and pick magazine accordingly. Then after the call i got transfer to someone else. They ask for my card and info. And i gave it to them, i know i am dumb for doing this. She told me that i it would be free for a few month or something. But then she said i had to pay which surprised me. But went along anyways. Then they record message too make sure they when a court case by asking a series of yes or no question. Luckily this gave me time to think and said no to one of those question and they gave up. I was lucky they gave me time to think but don't trust this company, they try to trick me and other people into buying there product to join a sweepstake. Looking at the sweepstake online says that u don't need to buy anything so this is just a outright scam. They said it was free to trick you into buying and even said to me that if i back out i am out of the sweepstake(which the website said u dont need to buy anything). They record you to use it against you in court. It has scam written all over it.

Total scam, they said we started a free trial, no one knows what they are talking about, now they want to send us to collections. Fraud

I had an agreement with this company where if I pay double for 1 year, I would received the magazines for 2 years and even after I paid more than one year, they kept billing my credit card I cancel the subscription and even that way, they keep sending me bills. I had to talked to my bank in order to cancel the charges. They won't accept the cancellation and I am not paying them anything else. This company is bad. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM

they person that i got this from toll me that that i had 4 payments of 39.90 and then they tell me i have 16 more payment of 39.90 for 6 magazine's and some of them o did'nt order and they come miss cut and you cant read them because they come unsealed i called them to cancel and they said that i cant cancel these guys over charge for crappy service please do'nt order from these crooks !!!
