      Beware of ordering from them online! They have placed triple holds on my account TWICE now. Both times they have refused to remove the holds unless I gave them sensitive financial information that is not required to do that. By their own admission, twice now, the holds on my money won't be released for 14 days. I gave this company every chance I could to make this right and they ignored me until they couldn't. There was no email response for 2 days (and counting) then hours before they responded to a text. I'm deaf so I couldn't call and then no solution at all when I contacted them. Buyer beware for sure.

      I drove 20miles one way to purchase this fabric that indicated on their app if I purchased 6yds it would be 30 per yard .vs $35 I showed th app to the associate and she call mgr *** in the Arlington TX store and she said I "think" it's has to be an online purchase. You are a mgr you should know, clearly I showed her it doesn't say it has to be an online purchase. I have wasted time,gas and have to reschedule bc Joann doesn't have their associates or mgr in" app" knowledge. I am so disappointed. All I wanted was to the get the fabric for the price listed on the app if you say bulk price that's what I expect to get the item for as listed for 6yds.

      We are over an hour away from the Jo Ann Fabrics Store we went to at 2160 N Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV... Since we were in town, we went there to get fabric for a home project. I told the person I needed 90 inches in length of the fabric and the Jo Ann employee assured me that it would be 90 inches. I also bought a curtain rod, using a 40% off coupon... The price on this item was marked 16.99... On the way out to the car, I noticed that the price for the item on the receipt was 21.99 minus 40%... At the time, I decided that it was still less than 16.99, so I didn't bother to go back. Today, the wife and I laid out the fabric on a kitchen counter and measured it - It was short of 90 inches! The wife advised me that even at 90 inches, it was going to be questionable if it would be enough for her to sew a curtain loop and edge seam on it. The shortage wasn't huge, but I paid for 90 inches, because I needed 90 inches. And what seemed most ridiculous to me, was that there were only about 6 inches of fabric left on the roll she cut my fabric from - Who is going to buy that 6" that it was worth it for you to short a customer, and who is going to go back to a store that can't even give you what you ask for? I made 4 attempts to contact the store during business hours without an answer.

      I drove 40 minutes to topsham Maine to purchase some fabric. I grabbed the coupons that arrived in the mail and picked out a piece of fabric that was fairly expensive and there was no sign indicating a sale price. With my 50% off coupon I was told the coupon was not valid because the fabric was on sale. They said it was 25% off and the coupon wouldn’t help. Now I just spent over $70 for something I thought would be less than $50. When I complained I was told their printer was broken and they could not make signs. Deceptive advertising and or lazy employees.

      The last 2 times I visited the LA Cienega store I was charged for the same item twice. Long lines, terrible customer service. Will never shop at a JOANN store again.

      I placed an order for 10 fabric quarters, 2 scrap book storage cases and 4 succulent planters. The entire order was cancelled as out of stock within 6 minutes, yet all items continued to show as in stock. I cannot believe that all of my items were out of stock. This is not the first time they have cancelled my order. I placed the order again, omitting the fabric quarters. After 15 minutes, they have not yet cancelled it. I am convinced that they cancel orders that are too much bother to fill.

      Customer service is useless. I had a problem with an online order that SHOULD have been easy to solve. I saw the issue at the time I ordered. I proved it wasn't a fraud. Both chat and email told me nothing could be done. I had to wait. Let items be unable to be delivered and wait to get a refund. Why have customer service if all they do is let things pass? I have no problem with the physical store.

      On February 5, 2024, at approximately 12:30 pm, I visited JOANN Fabric store located on 11215 Causeway Blvd., Brandon, Florida, to purchase some African American fabric for Black History Month projects. Initially, I checked the fabric isles as I always do when looking for particular fabric. I didn't see any, so I asked the young lady at the cutting counter where was the location for the African American fabric? Her response was she didn't think that the store had any, but if so, it would be located on the north wall of the store. I checked there and did not locate any, so I asked the cashier to ask management when the African American fabric would be arriving. She appeared to call and speak with someone via the mic near her mouth. She advised me that the store had not received any and was not sure when it will. I have patronize JOANN for all of my sewing and projects in the past so naturally, I assumed the store would have some fabric relating to Black History Month which is a month long celebration. A celebration that is recognized by Schools, Churches, City, County, State and Federal Agencies, so for JOANN not to have any items relating to Black History is surely a slap in the face for those of us who does celebrate it. I can assure you that Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and even Easter were represented today, and all of these are one day celebrations. Shame on JOANN for giving the perception of Blacks not being a part of their Customer Base. I don't want to say what this gives the perception of, but I do feel like Corporate should definitely have this investigated and ensure that a policy is implemented immediately whereby all holidays and celebrations are equally represented. I am hopeful that this incident will be reviewed and appropriately corrected. If it was an oversight, the Manager of the store in question should be counselled.

      I never got to shop here. I gotta kicked out of their website when I was ordering back on 12/18/23. My boss gave me a gift card of $50 and I decided to buy fabric on the site. Something happened with the website and it wouldnt let me purchase. I closed it out and retired the website again, but when I tried the gift card again the money was spent.I have reached out to customer service through email (as this is the only way to contact them) since 12/18/23 multiple times and they have refused to refund the gift card. I cannot and will not buy anything from them.

      Joann fabrics #2381 in Prince Frederick, Maryland. We were having a GREAT time. Employee was very sweet, but slow. I asked him three times NICELY to just unroll the whole bolt then measure it. It's quicker than rolling out one yard, measuring it, rolling out another yard, and measuring it, etc. I was buying all the fabric on the bolt. I had at least 8 other fabrics to purchase and it would take forever. He didn't understand. I asked another employee to help , then I asked if the first employee was new. The second one went BALLISTIC, yelling at us that I was being rude. Held up his phone and said "I'm recording this". I raised my voice once, then spoke in a calm tone while ***** berated us. A woman who claimed to be the assistant manager came over shouting that she was going to call the police if we didn't leave. Didn't ask what's the problem, didn't try to diffuse the situation, just jumped in shouting. ***** continued his tirade, shouting across the store. ***** called someone named ******, told his lies and told us the manager wanted us to leave. I said "let me speak to her". He refused. He kept shouting that he was calling the police. They called the police. We did not leave until after I tried unsuccessfully to call Joanns corporate offices. I have since found out that the number is turned off. In the interim, ***** and the Asst Mgr continued shouting. I had my friend buy the one fabric we drove TWO HOURS to get and left the rest. I sat outside in my wheelchair and waited for the police. When they arrived, I explained the situation to one while the other went inside. I've worked ar a Joann fabrics, my daughters have all worked at a Joann fabrics. I have NEVER seen anything like this in my LIFE. Asst mgr needs to learn how to diffuse a situation rather than join in and instigate further. No "what's the problem " just shouting at us. I sent an email, I send a message on their FB page, I sent a "store experience" to them. 3 weeks, and no response from Joanns.
