I went in to have my mom's dentures looked at to see if they could be repaired (2 front teeth broke off). The lady at the desk was on the phone & she wasn't friendly when she came over. I explained my mom got her dentures there and I was wondering if they could be looked at to see if they could be repaired. With no friendliness she advised she needed my moms info. I gave it to her, she looked it up & said she needs to come in so the dentist can examine the dentures & see what the prob is. I said, they're right here - the front 2 teeth are broken. She said well idk what to tell you she needs to come in. I said ok tell me you want more money w/o telling me. She was annoyed, looked at her comp and said, well she needs an exam b/c it's been 2 yrs and he needs to look at her teeth. I said, it's a full upper plate. She was visibly annoyed I was responding w/valid points to each of her statements and now she was getting mad and short. She said well she has her bottom teeth so he needs to see those. I said, um, ok. She said, it will explain why her teeth broke. I said, I can tell you why, She has alz and ate a sucker w/o realizing what she was doing and broke them off. Her husband was furious w/her - she ended up moving in w/me, but is freaking out abt them being broken b/c she 'got in trouble' w/him, so that's why they are broken. She was furious at me by then b/c literally none of her responses were even making sense as to what I was asking her. I didn't expect them to be repaired for free. I just wanted to see if they could repair them w/o me having to bring her in b/c it's difficult w/her alz and this woman had no empathy and was straight rude and mad I was questioning her ridiculous statements. I am FURIOUS with the treatment and if she treated me that way - how is she going to treat my mom w/alz????Business Response

On 12/15/2023 I paid Aspen Dental for a service that my insurance company, Delta Dental, would have paid for. Aspen had me pay out of pocket and then billed my insurance company later. My insurance company stated they would pay the bill after Aspen Dental submitted a detailed description of work performed rather than just a code *****.Business Response

Dear Sir or Madaam:
Again, as itemized on the attachment to my last check to Aspen Dental, the alledged $173.00 debt is for a service (the pulling of my tooth) that has not even been provided. Otherwise, I have paid for all actual services provided as of today's date. Please see copy of that two page original attachments. Thank you.
Sincerely,
