The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the governments allegations, which have not yet been proven.
On Sept. 5, 2024 the Ohio Attorney General filed a civil lawsuit in Franklin County Common Pleas Court accusing defendants Joseph Slye and David Harvey and Magic Touch Exteriors, LLC, of soliciting contracts for roof, gutter and siding repairs in the wake of severe storms but allegedly often failing to deliver the promised services to homeowners across the Midwest in violation of state consumer protection laws. The lawsuit seeks restitution for affected consumers, civil penalties and injunctive relief to prevent the company and its operators from engaging in similar practices in the future.
The matter is pending.
