    Client went to the car dealership and spoke directly to the owner and on 4/12 he purchased a car and the owner told him it had issues but offered to fix it but did not give him any paperwork regarding the issue but was purchased with the understanding that issues would be fixed but the owner did not properly fix it and the car no longer works and the owner doe snot want to return the money.

    I purchased a vehicle on 10-13-22 from this business. I asked if there was anything wrong or serious wrong with the vehicle vehicle she replied no it's in perfect shape. I paid 2950.00 for it. I did test drive it and I didn't notice anything. Anyhow oct 28 my mechanic friend decided to look under it and he noticed the frame was rusted thru on both sides all the way up. He said this car should never been sold for safety reasons. He then stated that vehicle is not repairable. I called the dealership and asked for either a refund or have the money transferred to another vehicle and they said no. I purchased as is. That the vehicle is my problem.

    Dear customer and BBB:

     

    I am sorry that this situation occurred.  Unfortunately, we are not able to refund the $ requested.  As Mr. ****** stated the car was sold "as is", which means that the customer acknowledges that there is no guarantee on this vehicle.  If the frame is rusted, there is no way the dealer has concealed that and Mr. ****** had the opportunity, as he stated, to drive test the car and inspection it before completing the purchase.  It is not our intention to create a difficult situation for any of our customers.  Mr.*****r signed, in fact, 2 different documents acknowledging that the vehicle is sold "AS IS".

    I have attached the "AS IS" documents signed by Mr. ****** as evidence that he was well aware that there is no guarantee on the vehicle.  Please let me know if there is any questions and thanks for your support.
