    Consumers from across the United States have contacted BBB indicating the Reliant Capital Solutions' representatives falsely identify themselves as being from a government entity, such as the Attorney General's office. 



    Consumers are advised that it is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act to falsely state that a complaint has been filed against a consumer, to fail to disclose that a communication is from a debt collector, to make a telephone call without meaningful disclosure of the caller's identity or to falsely state and/or imply that the caller is with the attorney general's office. 

     

    RCS has responded to some consumers indicating they would not be contacted by phone again, or the account was returned or that if the consumer would like the calls to stop they may send a letter asking them not to contact them by phone to the following address:

      This number called me asking for my grandmother, after I told them multiple times that she is 75 years old and that she has dementia and cannot speak with them. They would not tell me why they are calling the agent got very mad at me and was very rude. She is an old women and this is not acceptable.

      On June 21st I made a settlement payment. I requested a copy of a receipt to show account is paid as per terms of settlement and closed. I have not received a receipt. Since calling back I was told it can take up to 30 days to send a receipt. I advised that the receipt needed to be sent immediately to show account closed. I have requested to speak to a manager multiple times however have yet to receive a call back. I am told “they are in a meeting”.

      Theyre calling me about debt that I do not owe. They are also lying by saying theyre affiliated with the Ohio attorney Generals office. I checked and they are not. This company is a fraud and needs to be penalized for unfair and unethical business practices.

      I had a bill for $271 from **** that went to collection with Reliant Capital Solutions . I paid the bill In full on January 28,2023. I was assured that it would be removed from my credit report. To date, it has not been. I have contacted Reliant via phone calls and email several times in the past few months and they keep saying that they requested the removal but they don’t know why it hasn’t been removed. I am trying to buy a house and I NEED this paid in full bill removed.

      I have asked this company to ONLY contact me via mail and the verify any debt I have with them. This has not happened I have never had business or accounts with reliant capital and they are continuing to spam call me, sometimes multiple times a day.
