My fiance and i on 12/19/23 was looking for a handyman to perform a few jobs at our home. Mr. Bill C**; owner of Liberty Construction and Handiwork reached out to us after we went onto improvenet.com and submitted our request. He reached out to us and scheduled for him to come out the following day at 10am which he was an hour late for. The first order of business was that he reconnected our dryer hose to our dryer exhaust duct. He fixed that with no issue to our understanding. The second order of business he agreed to do was to replace our living room ceiling fan on 12/19/23 as well. He took out our pre existing ceiling fan and attempted to put in another unit that was used. He told us that he would not be able to use that used unit due to it not working so my fiancé and i bought a new one the same day and we rescheduled for him to come back out to put it up on 12/22/23 @ 2pm. He never showed up at the scheduled time. My fiancé called him around 3pm and he told her he was stuck in traffic and that he would arrive in about an hours time. She called him again and he did not pick up. I personally called him around 4:30pm to confirm the issue as well and again he told me that he was in traffic. Couple hours past and i call him once more at 6:55pm and he again continues to lie about being in traffic. At this point under my fiance and i assumption this guy clearly doesn’t want to come back out for the work he’s already started on. For the ceiling fan install specifically was suppose to be $100 and we sent him $40 prior to him finishing the job. I attempted one last time to call him at 8:05pm still complaining about traffic. I told him that this was very unprofessional and before i could finish my sentence, he hung up on me and we have not heard from him sense.. i notified him shortly after in a text we would no longer want his services due to the unprofessionalism on the matter. We aren’t sure if he’s really licensed as well. I***** ********* ************
