    Jan 12 he installed new awning fabric and in order to do so he removed the rear awning arm. Three days later while traveling on **** outside ******** that rear arm dislodged from the rig causing a chain reaction where the entire 21ft awning tube and all blew out into interstate traffic where it was hit by an 18 wheeler and damaged the rear luggage door and blew out the window of the tow vehicle. Upon inspection the two lag bolts holding the bottom of the arm were not installed correctly and had come loose. I sent him a text immediatly after and he said he "would take care of it" when when we arrived home in April. I took his word for it and rather than fix it on the road we waited until we returned. April 2nd I set up an appointment with him to come take a look at what we needed to do to fix it and he did hold the appt on 4/9. Now 2 months later and after 12 unreturned calls, numerous voicemails and texts on 4/28, 5/6, 5/15, 5/16, 5/19, 5/29, 6/3 and 6/5 he has still not responded. It is clear he has no interest in "making it right" or standing by the shoddy workmanship that put me an my wife in danger and caused us to be without an awning for 3 months. I am requesting reimbursement for the work he performed and reimbursement of the $1000.00 insurance deductible.
