    On 21 Feb 2025, a contract was signed for an event venue in Euclid, OH. Delayed opening, staff shortage, inadequate lighting, unprofessional conduct, and unsatisfactory services were experienced. Compensation is expected for the poor service. A guest fell and had to receive medical treatment.

    In response to the complaint 

    Client was upset because she paid for 125 guests for a repast and only 20 people attended. Ms ****** didn’t want to go over her counts. Doors were opened at 130p, event started at 2p, there was 7 staff on duty. We were not understaffed. Due to guests not showing up we allowed Ms ****** to take home food. A guest did miss her seat, but there was nothing on the floor or anything done on our part to cause the guest to miss her seat. The team immediately offered assistance to the guest, asked the guest if she was ok, and took an incident report. Service is our number one priority. We can’t control if guests don’t show up. We started on time, had the meal prepared for serving, served the guests in attendance and allowed Ms ****** to take food home. The bar was not open because it is our policy not to serve alcoholic beverages at Repast’s.

    The service and unprofessional behavior of the staff at this establishment are the basis for the complaint. The owner appears to be unaware of her staff's actions and their aforementioned conduct. The guests were closely monitored by the staff, who began clearing tables as if the establishment were closing. The guest who fell had undergone surgery in the past and has since visited the emergency room multiple times following the incident. If the owner is confident in the quality of her business, she should consider becoming a member of the Better Business Bureau.

    I've paid 1039 dollars to this business when they were first starting out I decided not to have my wedding there any more because she kept adding to the price we never had a contract or anything I never signed anything about cancellation policies I been asking for my money back since may since she kept adding different prices I keep getting excuses I would Ben left her alone if she would just give me my money back it's almost November and it's excuse after excuse she is telling me I will get a refund but she won't give it to me I want my money back and she is acting very unprofessional using excuses
