Educators Reserve/Tax Advantage Group has been handling my annuity deposits since the early 2000's. Recently, it was brought to my attention that payments are not being deposited in my annuity from this broker. I contacted my annuity and they confirmed that the last deposit they received was 2/28/2022. My school district has been taking the money out of my account continuously since it opened until I told them to stop payments since this broker has not deposited any of the money they have received from 2/28/2022 to 3/31/2023. I have spoken to Voya who stated they have not received the deposits. I spoke to Omni, who is the company my school district sends my deposits to, which confirmed they have been receiving payments from Brunswick City and cutting checks to Educators Reserve this entire time. I am missing a few thousand dollars of my annuity because Educator Reserve/Tax Advantage has not been sending my money to Voya. I want my deposits back or sent to Voya since they have my money and not doing their job to make sure it is being sent. Apparently, I heard the owner passed away, yet no one is handling the business for him? I have tried calling Tax Advantage- the phone is disconnected, and emails get sent back.
