    In late February I purchased a used replacement transmission from dealer for roughly $**** when my transmission died. Three months later transmission began to leak fluid. Repaired transmission with them for roughly $***. Less than a month later transmission began to leak again, was told it was from a different spot and would cost almost $*** to repair again. When asked if they could cover the cost since the transmission was only in the car for less than 4 months they said they offered no guarantees that used transmissions would work properly hence why they are cheaper. When asked if anyone had inspected the transmission prior to installing owner told me that was not their responsibility. Seals are dry rotted in transmission, discovered transmission is not refurbished at all or bought from a reputable location but was instead sourced from a local junk yard with no guarantees on quality or proper storage or even proper functionality.

    My car was dropped off for a electrical diagnosis after having to jump start my car weeks on end while working from home and not driving my car.The Dead battery, which I changed before taking it, however, the warning lights on the driver's information center (DIC) kept coming on to service my traction control, service the abs and it was throwing a check engine code for a low voltage speed sensor.The other issue was a short in the bcm because my hvac lights would flash on when closing only the drivers side door and I thought it was preventing the battery to go into deep sleep mode (battery current sensor-related to the bcm) Brittain only changed the battery. Keep in mind that my car had a two week old Duralast gold battery I put in myself. Well, the lights still came on the dash after I got my car back from their service center and spending almost $300.00!!!Called GM they didnt help rectify this issue at all. Actually GM customer service told me to buy a new car! Took my car to a independent tech, here, I had a bad hub assembly on the left front that was making those trouble lights come on. The warning lights had nothing to do with the battery. However, it does still have a body control module circuit fail the other tech found which is what I had originally told *******! Was completely ignored by Brittain's service center like I didnt know a thing about cars. Its scary the sheriffs department patrol units are worked on here, when Brittain cant even figure out a bad hub bearing wouldnt take a Yugo to them no longer will I spend hundreds of my dollars here yearly. ! I already filed a charge dispute with my credit card, and told triple a to reconsider having them as a "certified service center".what a waste of my time and money. And to top it off auto zone wouldnt take back my old battery because it wasnt bad to begin with. It was testing at 600 cold cranking amps after ******* told me it was bad. Even auto zone told me I got ripped off!

    Customer informed the service **** that his car was having starting problems and erratic voltage problems. Service diagnosed his battery as being defective and replaced it to solve the problem. Customer was shown the readout from the battery test machine when he was here to prove the battery was the problem. Customer was also returned his "gold" battery so he could deal with a return or refund. (this being a large part of his cost). Customer did not state any other concerns or issues to be addressed.. There was no reason for us to check his drivetrain for problems. Wheel bearings dont drain the battery. Duralast gold battery is to have 780 cold cranking amps. he says his had 600 CCA. We did what we were requested-the car sat here 3 days and started immediately. We had no complaints from Customer! Why would he wait 3 weeks and never call us?!?
