I bought a couch in April 3 2023.The couch is losing the stuffing in the seats and arm rest ,When you sit on it you fill boards in the back and we're the arm rest is ,I called Goodlettsville tn store we're I bought it because they denied my claim and the lady told me that it was because it was out of the the manufacturer warranty which is out of the manufacturing warranty by 17 days I've been fighting with these people since Friday so I bought an extended warranty for 5 years so I felt it under extended warranty they tell me that they do not cover it it only covers if if the frame or something wrong with the frame so I'm just stuck with a $600 couch that I paid for the cushions are messed up I sit video I sent pictures you know this place is a rip-off just take your money and I think they should refund me my extended warranty since they don't want to they don't want to fix anything they say nothing's covered that wasn't what I was told when I bought the extended warranty it's all misleading stuff I've called the lady back because she told me something was in the computer wrong to give her 48 hours and put another complaint in and I did and they denied it too so she told me to call her back I called her back she was with a customer I spoke with Mark and this was at 9:30 no excuse me at 10:45 and he and he said that he would have her to call me back and it is now 1:15 and still no return call from Susan I don't understand what's going on I mean literally 17 days out of the manufacturing warranty and y'all can't do anything about it this is ridiculousReview from Barbara J

I placed an order online on March 26 I was supposed to pick it up, but my daughter was busy so decided to have it delivered when I called the store the manager Brandon said let me see if I have it and call you back it took a minute when he called me back he asked me if I had 110 dollars for delivery I said yes it was late afternoon before the movers came with the furniture, they couldn't get it inside the small door they ask me about another door they never said it wouldn't fit, they damage the furniture forcing it in I came out my room and paid them after they left I went in my living room to check out the furniture it was not the same set I paid for the furniture was soft chocolate with 4 pillars it only had 2 pillars couch was ripped from the top at the back and bottom loveseat was damaged too. The manager Brandon didn't wanna refund me so he said to come into the store and see if they had something, my daughter took me to the store I looked around everything was bigger and cost more I told him, and he said I'll hold the money until something comes in the movers damage the furniture so why I have to wait and not get a refund. I called my bank and disputed it with pictures and won I called Brandon about picking up the furniture he had me believe someone was coming and gave me a number to call I spoke with three different women who kept telling me, Brandon the manager dealt with pick-ups he was giving me the runaround I found out today he reverse my dispute ****** for used furniture damage furniture I believe this he the manager at **** ***** *******Review from Jazmin P

February 2024, I went online and purchased a sectional. Next day, a representative from the store near me in Scranton called to tell me that they don’t have that sectional in stock or when they would. Okay, order cancelled. I went to the store beginning of March to pick out a sectional and a bedroom set. I picked out both and was under the 3200 I was approved for through the American First Finance. I was told the couch would be there a few days later and the bedroom set would be delivered in 2 weeks A few days later I received 2 boxes (after asking the delivery men several times to double check) which was only a portion of the couch. I had to call the store several times and they had to deliver the rest next day. I was still missing a piece of the sectional. Again, I had to call the store to get the missing piece. Today is April 8, 2024 and I’m not being told I didn’t order a bedroom set, only the bed. For $3,098.15 I got only a couch and a bed. This whole store and company and their raggedy financing with astronomical interest is a whole scam. I’ve contacted the store manager who had a melt down on the phone and said I was threatening him when I said I was going to come to the store to get a better understanding of the receipt. I then contacted the 1-800 number and spoke with their customer service and was told they would get back to me. I have not heard from them in a few days. I also still only received just the bed. I just tried to called the 1-800 number to get in contact with someone and their having technical difficulties. As a resolution, I would like the $109.99 delivery fee waived because that was a complete failure. I want the rest of the bedroom set. And I would love to know why this store is showing one price in the store and charging different prices on the receipt. $681.82 for the left side of the sectional. $590.91 for the right. $363.63 for a “wedge” of the sectional and $363.63 for an “armless portion of the sectional?Review from Chastity H

This company is awful! They have crap customer service and cheap furniture and they lie to you about the warranty. I have had issues after issues with this company and the quality of their furniture. I have finally given up on the warranty fixing anything even though the springs are coming out of my couch after 1 year of owning. Worst decision of my life! I finally purchased a new couch with a different company. Do not recommend this company AT ALL!!!Review from Shawn S

I placed an order the evening of 3/18/2024, for delivery 3/19/2024, and the representative from the Ontario store did not sound confident that the delivery could be made when contacted around 10am 3/19/2024. The representative from the Ontario store called back at 2:30pm to state that the delivery could not be made that day, 3/19/2024, eventhough the delivery for that day was added to the total and paid for. I asked to be refunded because I needed the product that day, and the representative stated that he would refund the entire purchase. Today, 4/2/2024, I STILL DO NOT HAVE A REFUND. $1055.79 - I don't want to sue them, but will if necessary. I bought a mattress 8 months ago and it’s complete lost its shape. The mattress manufacturer came to my home and determined that it was in bad enough shape to be replaced. This information was sent to American freight and they replace a namebrand pillow top mattress with one of the worst mattresses I’ve ever seen in my entire entire life and whenever I went to pick up that they just threw my truck and said there you go. Hello, on or around 9/13/23 I discovered my wood table that I had purchased on 1/7/2022 had a really bad stain, like the wood had bleached out or something, I have a 5yr warranty, so I put in for a claim: ******* – I received a email with this claim number, also in this same email you tell the client you will contact them with updates on your claim: “We’ll Keep You Updated You will be contacted via email, sms, or push notification with updates throughout the claim process.” I never received a email or anything, in fact with all the claims I never received a email or call - I waited, I believe on 11/23 I called but they had no information and told me to put in another claim, On or around 03/01/2024 I put in another claim: ******** this time instead of waiting I contacted the warrantee department and they told me I needed to file another claim with Assurant, so on 3/14/2024 I filed another claim: ******* All Claims have been denied for one reason or another, I keep getting the run-a-round from the companyReview from Shemeka W

I just paid off my furniture (over $4000) on February 24 all to have my bed side rail break and the legs on the dresser or weak so the dresser will not stand up. I reached out to the warranty department and they had someone come out and claim he needed parts to turn around and send an email a few minutes later to say my bad is not covered under warranty. I have been a loyal customer for a few years and recommend their company a lot to turn around and have a horrible experience and out of $4000Review from John M

Although the employees I worked with were extremely friendly and helpful, I bought a clothes washer that started leaking after only 2 months and the extended warranty did not cover the repair and American Freight have not provided any resolution or repairs. I’m left with a $700 machines that leaks all over my floor with every wash. Buyer beware.
