            On January 8, 2021, I contracted with **** ****** owner of Shadowhill Custom Wood to make me a corner kitchen nook wall bench and table along with a separate bench for 3850.00. He does not tell the truth about his progress. I asked for my deposit money back several times and he would not refund. I visited his shop and he had done nothing, just lied. In May he came and installed the wall corner bench and the color of the stain was not the color of the sample. Both the table and the bench are too long, not to scale with the wall bench. The legs on the table wobble, stick out to far and are a tripping hazard and the bench are a totally different color than the wall bench I asked him to fix the color and he said it wasn't possible which of course it is, you strip it and re-stain to match. I have received estimates of 1000.00 and 1500.00 to fix. If you care about a delivery date, truthful communication,, reliability, honestly and quality furniture find yourself someone else.

            I had Avery interesting project. Had an island that was done poorly several years ago. Rick, the owner of Shadowhill, had quite the job on his hands. He tore out the old mess, and installed an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture. Give him grace. He works on his own, and tries to employ people to learn this trade. Sadly, people don't want to work. His work is worth your wait. He does beautiful work.
