    I verbally contracted with Fugate tree service to remove a tree from my back yard for 1750.00 on 9-18-24. The contract was to remove the tree and grind the stump, remove the chips and fill the hole with topsoil. They cut down the tree, removed the trunk and then told me that they did not have a stump grinder available. Dan Fugate told me to hold back 250.00 and he would come back the next weekend to finish the job. I waited 2 weeks and called his office. The person who answered said she would tell him and insinuated that it would be taken care of that weekend. It was not. Now he will not answer his phone. I cannot get the job finished for 250.00 I originally thought the job would be done in one day and I could plant grass before winter. It is now too late for that but I still want it finished. Since he does not have a stump grinder [which I assumed he did] I suggest he subcontract that part. Then I will pay the final 250.00.

    Everything has been taken care of.  He hurricane storm damaged set up way back in taking care of some things.  We still need a little topsoil to finish his entire job, but this should be taken care of in the next day or two.

    On feb 17 fugate tree service was cutting down a tree located at **** **** ******** ***
    The gentleman ask my husband if they coukd take a panel of our privacy fence down to get access to the tree
    My husband said yes as ling as you put it back up
    They ended up breaking a post from the base , put it back up by a string
    The fence is still damaged no one came back to fix it , now today on July 7 they came to cut a different tree on same property . I approached them about our fence and they only apoligized

    After speaking with the crew that was at this location I was advised the fence and surrounding area was in very poor shape and the gentleman who lives at this location  gave them permission to 

    place the fence post back  any way they could.  It was initially being propped up by the tree they removed.  However, if the lady of the home would like for them to come back and "fix it"  the best they

    can, they will do so. However it may be a few weeks before they can since this is a busy part of the season for them.  If they happen to be working in that area any sooner they will take care of it then.
