    I ordered two “blind date with a book” packages on the 30th of November. These should have included one book each: one romance and one thriller. They made me pick what type of book and story I liked and every image showed books that were wrapped. I paid $42.28 for this yet when it arrived over a month later it was just some wrapping paper and stickers no book.

    When I complained to the business they offered me $4 compensation even when I said that I want a full refund or my books sent to me. For the full refund they want me to pay for exorbitant amounts of shipping back to China even though the company claims to be American.

    Ordered 2 book packages- 1 dark romance and the other historical fiction. I received instead was a couple stickers, string, a highlighter, 2 book marks and 2 copies of of "3 weeks with my brother" by nicholas sparks. The entire package weighed 5oz. When I contacted the company, they said they sent what i ordered and tried to compensate me $11 for almost a $54 dollar order. But refused to send me what i actually ordered

    On 11/29 I order two items after seeing a an ad on Facebook. I ordered a Blind Date with a Book - Dark Romance for $22.98 and the 2025 Fuck the Year calendar for $21.99. I received tracking (15848140439700903848) that went directly to their site that stated it was shipped from Spain. On 1/6/25 I emailed them to inquire about my order. They apologized and said they'd send a new order. The tracking they sent was for an item shipped to the US from China on 12/24/25. When I received my items there was no book and the calendar was a 2025 Scaredy Cats calendar. I emailed them with pictures of my order and the remain adamdent I received the correct order. They offered me $5 refund or I could mail the items back at my own cost to China. I sent further evidence that the items were not what I ordered. They offered $8 refund or that I could return the items at my cost, which both times they made it clear it would be too expensive for me.

    On 11/26/24 I placed an order from Bizartre.com for two blind date with a book selections. As you will see in the included documents I paid $45.45 for what was advertised as real books. I did not get a real book. I got something that was at most 1/8th of an inch thick written by Nicholas Sparks. Some sheets of stickers. Two pieces of string two book marks and two highlighters along with random fake flowers. I ordered a spicy romance and a fantasy book, Nicholas Sparks is neither of those. The site claimed it would be shipped from MS however tracking said it started in Spain 12/22/24 tracking updated to leaving China which officially happened 12/30/24. From there Chicago Illinois on 12/31/24 to Indianapolis, then finally to Mass, NH Nashua and Manchester and finally to my house on 1/14/25.

    On 12/7/24, I ordered a Blind Date with a Book purchase from Bizartre. The website stated a highly rated book would be included along with stickers, highlighter, and bookmark. I received my order on 1/14/25. Upon opening my envelope, I noticed the order looked nothing like the picture and there was no book inside of the wrapping paper. The highlighter was also missing the cap which led to the marker leaving ink stains on the sticker pages. I promptly took pictures without opening the clear cellophane (as to not void a refund) and contacted the business via their support email with pictures attached for proof. I requested the company give me a refund. On 1/15/25 the company responded stating, “Our warehouse has verified that the goods we have sent you are correct. The shipping fee might be a lot if you want to return it. Would you like to accept 4USD as compensation and keep the products instead?”
    I then googled the company and saw numerous accounts from others on trustpilot stating they have received the same thing with no refund.

    I ordered a Blind Date with a book for myself and one for a friend on 11/30/2024. The description said that it included a book of your chosen genre (mine were Spicy Romance and Dark Romance). ALSO included the special wrapping for the book.
    I had to contact support multiple times as my package took more than a month to arrive despite the advertisement stating 5-10 business days. Myself and my friend received our packages on 01/11/2025. At first glance we already knew something was wrong. In the package was a clear bag containing all the things the book was supposed to be wrapped in and no book, or so we thought. Upon opening the bag we found a "book". It was more like a pamphlet, a 1 chapter exert from a Nicholas Sparks book....which is not at all what I ordered or paid for.
    The advertisement clearly stated that it was a FULL, in English book that had a high GoodReads rating. Yet that is not what was received.
    I promptly reached out to support again and was told that because it was a "blind box" the products are random and they'd like to give me a $4 refund as an apology.
    $4....of the over $50 I spent.
    This company falsely advertised this product to an extreme and will not admit it. I later found many complaints online of others who have gone through the same thing I am to no avail.
    Bizartre shouldn't be able to do business if they're falsely advertising and scamming people.

    I have photos of what I was supposed to receive as well as what I actually received for reference.

    I placed the following 2 orders with this company:

    Order #35410S76882 on 12/2/24 for
    X2 - Blind Date With a Book
    Amount paid - $45.04

    Order #*********** on 12/4/24 for
    X2 - Blind date with a book
    Amount paid - $38.61

    The total paid between the 2 orders was $83.65.

    The product description on the website indicates that each item comes with a mystery book within the genre of the customers choosing. The items I received did not include a book, but rather a 20ish page excerpt of a book that had been printed on photo paper then folded and stapled together in the middle. Three of the excerpts were the same section of the same book.

    The companies website promises a 100% satisfaction guarantee and a 100% 90 day money back guarantee/risk free purchase.

    I’ve gone back and forth with the company via email several times in the last 2 days requesting a refund because what I ordered is not what I received. I’ve offered to send the items I received back as well.

    The last response I received from them stated that the best they could do would be to offer me a $20 refund as a ‘gesture of goodwill’ and allow me to keep the products.

    Transaction was on December 3rd for a “date with a book” for a total of $30.
    Advertised as a mystery book of a genre of your choosing.
    Package arrived on January 6th and was marked that it was delivered in my mailbox. When I went to retrieve it on January 10th from my mailbox. It was a thin packaging which I thought must’ve been a mistake because a book was supposed to be in there. Once opened it was a pamphlet for a movie not a book at all.
    I contacted the business asking for a refund as it states on their website that they have a 90 day money back guarantee and got a response for a refund of 5 dollars which is unacceptable. Not only was this a scam, bait and switch but they are also refusing my refund of 29.41 for a product that they did not deliver on.

    For 3 full size novels with extras like a bookmark, stickers, a pen, and wrapping in the genre chosen. I ordered one horror book, one spicy romance, and one holiday romance. I paid for expedited shipping to get it in time for Christmas. Package and company are complete scam artists. They should be arrested for fraud and theft. The packages came on January 14, 2025, three weeks after Christmas even though I paid extra for shipping. The wrapping on each book was brown paper, not themed. The “full length novels” as promised were actual 8 page pamphlets of books containing the prologue and 1st chapter of the books. I received 3 pamphlets all of the same author. Nicholas Sparks. Not even the genres were correct with 3 pamphlets!!! I also received 2 of the same pamphlet and one of another title. It was supposed to come with a bookmark, stickers for the genre, and a pen. What came in it was a piece of string, stickers of telephones and fans, and a dried out highlighter. I am just disgusted as to how I and if you look on trustpilot.com others were scammed as well during the holiday season. I don’t know how this is legal. They should be arrested for fraud. I want a full refund and this company to be investigated.

    I am filing a complaint regarding a recent purchase from Bizartre through their website, ************************************************************************ The product I received does not match the description or images provided on their site.

    I ordered Bookish Surprisr Date - Fantasy x2 on December 30, 2024. based on the detailed description and photos that promised hand pick book and designed packaging/wrapping/goodies and each order is packed with love . When my order arrived, I was shocked to find that this isn't even a book, it was not wrapped with love the sticker sheet did not match the theme, the bookmark is cheap, string was just thrown in their and some cheap non working highlighter thrown in.

    I reached out to the business on January 13, 2025 via email to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the email address doesn't work?! Despite my attempts to address the matter, the company has failed to provide a solution.

    This experience has been extremely frustrating. I paid approximately $30 plus shipping and expected to receive the advertised product, but I feel misled. I am requesting a full refund.
