      Nearly 3 years ago my wife had a procedure done at the facility. We entered into a payment plan to cover the balance and immediately paid each time that the bill arrived. Once the term was complete and the bills stopped arriving we assumed the balance was paid. Nearly 3 years later with no attempt to contact us, the company sent a $105 balance to collections. When we contacted them on 8/5/24 they said they have a new accounting system and found the balance. When asked why we were not contacted prior to collections they said "they don't have the man power to babysit every agreement"

      We have since paid the bill to avoid further collection activity but there has been damage done to both our credit and reputation due to our responsibility to notify our employers of collections.

      In response to the complaint filed: 

      We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. After
      some research, there was a payment plan that was set up but the payment plan was not
      fulfilled by the patient, Unfortunately, once a payment plan is agreed upon, statements  stop. Please
      feel free to call our billing department for further explanation at ************.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      there were no bills ever sent identifying what the balance was. Had they provided a bill than the balance would have been paid in full much like it was when it was provided to us 3 years later. This complaint is being forwarded to the Ohio Attorney Generals Office and the State Medical Board
