On Thursday, Jan. 19, my husband had a flat tire. He pulled into the KB Automotive Technology shop and they took off the tire and put on the spare. He was told to return the next day, Friday, Jan. 20 for a replacement. No paper work was given to him about an estimate or what the "replacement" involved would be. On Friday, my husband returned to KB Automotive and they put on another tire to replace the spare. He paid with a credit card. Later Friday, I called KB Auto and inquired about the condition of the flat tire and what tire was put on as a replacement. They were not forthcoming with sufficient information. After work, I stopped at KB Automotive. I walked into the office, no one was present. I then knocked on the door marked "employees only". A man opened the door and asked what I wanted. I said I had called earlier and wanted some clarification about the tire exchange. Without stepping into the office, he said "I knew you would stop, you have a bad attitude." I said I stopped to get information because my husband gets confused. He replied "he shouldn't be driving anyway, what's wrong with you?" Have a nice day!" slamming the door hard enough to throw my head back. I left. The invoice shows a price of $277.54, but is not itemized clearly, and after checking the tire, I am not sure it is a new tire. I was not confrontational and did not argue, just want information. My main complaint is treatment I received and the fact that I am not confident that the tire is new and the price is inflated.
