We have been dealing with Universal Windows Direct for 10 months now to completely fulfill our order (placed in January). The company has been paid in full for the product and installation; however, we are still waiting on the installation of two screens. The company has been out to our home 4 times for this order (the initial install where two windows were missing, returned to install the other two; however, they were the wrong style, a third time where the last two windows were installed; however, the screens were incorrect, a fourth time this morning for the screens only to find out they were the wrong size). Each time, my husband and I had to take time off work to be present for the contractors. I have asked for a refund and/or discounts to accommodate the inconvenience (including having to take time off work), but they would not entertain my ask. The company wants our referral business; however, I would never recommend this company to friends and family as they are inefficient and not customer friendly. I am looking for resolution of my complaint through expediting the install of these last two screens.
