Important information

  • Additional Info:

Consumers should not confuse Property Pro Realty located in Shaker Heights, Ohio with a solicitation they may have received in the mail to sell their timeshare.

Property Pro Realty's name has been assumed by a third party, in effect, they are victims of identity theft. BBB does not know where the solicitations are coming from.

More information regarding this matter issued by the Ohio Department of Commerce is available at a link titled "Ohio Department Of Commerce Warns Of Timeshare Scam" at this http://www.com.ohio.gov/real/

which as of July 14, 2015 stated:

"OHIO DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE WARNS OF TIMESHARE SCAM

The Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing warned today that an individual or group which claims to be an Ohio licensed real estate company is soliciting consumers across the country, specifically timeshare owners, and promising to purchase their timeshare property.

The individual or group has assumed the name of Ohio licensed real estate company Property Pro Realty LLC. However, the culprits are not part of Property Pro Realty LLC. The group or individuals have created a website, http://propertyprorealtyllc.com/index.html, which is not actually ran by the legitimate Property Pro Realty.

“Ohioans need to be vigilant for scams such as these,” said Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing Superintendent Anne Petit. “We would ask that anyone with questions or information regarding this scam call us.”

So far, the timeshares in question have been located in Mexico, but the timeshare owners have been located in a number of states across the country. Consumers need to be made aware this is not a legitimate solicitation and this group is not from the actual Ohio real estate company Property Pro Realty LLC.

Consumers can contact the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing at (614) 466-4100."
